Okay, these change with the times, as we all know, but I always like doing lists like this.

Here's the scenario, you're stuck on a desert island with a magical game system that can play any game. BUT you can only have 10 games.

So, what 10 games would you play (these are the games you would play for the rest of your life)?

Here are my choices:

10. NCAA '08

I don't usually like football games, but I really took to this one for some reason.

9. Final Fantasy X

Great game, plus the Blitzball minigame could keep me occupied for a while.

8. Final Fantasy X-2

[i] Not the best game, but filled with TONS of mini-games and a lot of replay value. Plus I love the job system

7. Wild Arms III

Probably one of my favorite RPGs of all time.

6. Soul Calibur III

Gotta have a good fighting game in there!

5. Zelda: Wind Waker

 Seems appropriate somehow, lol!

4. Final Fantasy VIII

My personal favorite Final Fantasy game.

3. Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence

Cause it's got a couple games built into one, plus MGS3 is badass!

2. Kingdom Hearts II

Yeah, an odd choice, but come on!

1. Grand Theft Auto IV

That could keep me occupied for a long time, as some of you well know!

Also here are some honorable mentions, and the reasons I didn't choose them:

Honorable Mention 1: Halo (any halo game)

Great shooters, but as their key strength is in Multiplayer, I'd probably not get much out of them.

Honorable Mention 2: Final Fantasy VII

Yeah, greatest FF of all time and yadda yadda, and it would be a hard choice to leave this, but I'd still rather have FF8 over FF7.

Honorable Mention 3: Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door

I love this game, but it's too linear. Practically zero replay value. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

hm, yea, GTA 4 was pretty funny actually. apart from that... i'd say some RPGs. those things hardly get boring, especially when there's a lot of ways to solve the game. a huge skill-tree is also awesome.

dark messiah was one of the coolest. first-person RPG where you can KICK YOUR ENEMIES OFF LEDGES! WTF! too bad the game is very unstable =/ i already tried to run it on two different machines (one being my old pc and one my new one from 2008) and both times it had so much graphical problems or just froze all of the time _________________
