I meet a lot of creepy people in my job, but this guy takes the cake.
My female co-worker, Lindsey, told me that she checked this guy in at 1:00 PM. I came in at 3:00 PM. She said that he kept on making comments such as "You should hang on to one of those keys and visit me." and "Give me a call later and we'll have some fun."
As I say, I got in at 3:00 PM, TWO HOURS LATER and he checked out almost on the nose at 3.
First off, why does somebody blow $65 on a hotel room and stay for two hours?
Secondly this guy was creepy to begin with... he smelled like alcohol.
So I promptly told Lindsey that I was gonna walk her to her car and we were gonna keep an eye out for this guy. The manager said as creepy as this is, we have nothing to file a police report on, but still... _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

He probably checked in simply as an excuse to try to hook up with a female employee. When your coworker turned him down (sensible lady! ), he took the hint and left.
But WOW, that is pretty damn creepy. *Le shudder* _________________

Protip to all the guys here: don't act like the asshole in Jason's story. It skeeves girls out to no end. Not that I think you guys would, you all seem pretty smart about how to make nice with us.
That said, I've had customers be creepers at myself. It's really, REALLY uncomfortable. _________________

my girlfriend works at a restaurant at a bathing lake with lots of old guys roasted by the sun wearing bathing slips. and after work, she often swims in the lake, which is famous for it's nudist community. also, old guys. lots of creepy funny stories here
on top of that she was quite a striver at school, and so was her whole class. what happens when you're becoming a beautiful and still friendly girl in puberty amidst a class with very ugly, desperated and nerdy guys? did someone ever visit you naked in the shower, raini ? DURING FIELD EXCURSION?! _________________

I would never be creepy. Actually, I'm way to shy around girls I like to ever be creepy anyway (except in a very shy, untalkative way - being silent can occasionally creep people out too, but I try not to let that happen).
Only weirdo I ever had was a rather unstable internet stalker who turned out to be a 15 y/o schoolboy who had latched on to me for who knows what reason. When I tried to tell him to go away (and ultimately had to simply ignore him for a couple of months before he finally did) he kept getting ultra-clingy and saying that if I didn't want him around, he'd go and top himself. If the dood wanted to do that, his life, his choice. *le eye-rolling* _________________

@psychokind: No, but when they're very audibly going OH WOW LOOK AT THAT ASS ON THAT GIRL, you know they're not only undressing you with their eyes, but imagining it in their mind. That's super creepy for someone who is 19 (that happened a few years ago).
I've had guys old enough to be my dad (late 50's, early 60's) hit on me at my work. Needless to say, I went to hide behind my coworkers for a while when he left. _________________

Well we recently had a girl get snatched and killed at a Metallica concert near here, so even if I hadn't been raised to be chivalrous I'd be more apt to escort her under the circumstances.
Call me old-fashioned, but I don't like the idea of young women walking alone in a bad neighborhood period, creepers notwithstanding. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

I don't like the idea of ANYONE walking alone in a bad neighbourhood. Good on you to keep her company in case that creeper turn out to be a real nasty customer. _________________

i have to admit walking alone at night is kinda scary from all the stories making you paranoid and all that... but still, im willing to risk it if it means someone else's safety. nice sense of accomplishment afterwards too xD |

I'm actually feeling kinda lucky now - I once walked right across town and back again at something like 3 in the morning (my friend and I had been playing computer games all evening/night and I walked him home to apologise to his parents for him coming in so late), and it was actually rather...peaceful at that time in the morning. But I was walking along a well-lit high street that still had some traffic on it.
I wish more people were chivalrous to some extent or other in this age we live in. Then maybe the world would be a generally nicer place to be. _________________
