|
|
Does anybody know what the FF6 ending movie looks like if you didn't get Mog, Umaro, and Gogo? I know there's a different ending if you let Shadow die.
What about if you only beat Kefka's Tower with Sabin, Celes, Edgar and Setzer (hard, but theoretically possible) and didn't reclaim the other members of your party? _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

any characters you don't pick up rather than show their normal cutscene, it just shows a picture of them and where you were supposed to get them.
And technically you only need Celes, Edgar, and Setzer. |

Arkis is right, they just don't appear in the ending. At least, not cutscene-wise.
It makes for a much more boring ending if you don't find everyone.
And yes, you could theoretically beat the game with only three people. You start as Celes in the World of Ruin, and Edgar and Setzer have the only means of transportation. Everyone else is optional. But that would make for a really shitty ending (and leave them all to their miserable circumstances). _________________

@arkis/Freedan: That does make sense. I didn't know you could skip getting Terra, until my sister was playing the other day. And I just always automatically picked up Sabin because he was one of my favorite characters.
My party usually consisted of:
Terra (for general magical awesomeness)
Cyan (for brute strength)
Edgar (for status effects and mutli-enemy attacks)
Sabin (for even more brute strength)
Cyan was particularly powerful after I got the Offering and Genji Glove. 8 attacks FTW.
Although in terms of characters my three favorite were Locke, Celes and Setzer (although Strago is funny as hell. His theme and Gogos are my favorite character themes). _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Terra (for badassery and magic)
Celes (see: Terra)
Relm (see: Celes)
Locke (Offering/Genji Glove + Valiant Knife/Atma Weapon = win)
Also, Terra is the only one who will show up in the final cutscene weather you get her or not. She'll fly to the tower after you beat Kefka. |

Some ending scenes change depending on what characters you have. For instance, in Sabin and Edgar's little sequence, Sabin's supposed to catch a falling beam. If you don't have him, Celes, Setzer and Edgar will move it together and lament Sabin's absence. Celes will almost fall when the floor collapses, but if you don't have Locke, Setzer will save her instead.
