Ah, so THAT'S what a Smore is!
I was told once that they're called Smores 'cos eating them always leaves you wanting S'more. (Cheesy, I know).
I do quite love marshmallows, but that does not look appealing to me. Over here, when we go camping, traditionally we'll just skewer the marshmallows on sticks and toast them directly over the flame; sometimes, they come out just perfectly gooey.
The rest of the time, they either liquefy completely and drip into the fire, or burn to a crispy black lump, or drop in the mud. Whatever.... as one of my fellow Scouts used to say about any campfire cooking disaster, "It all adds to the taste!" _________________

Well, we roast marshmallows too, but how would graham crackers and chocolate not make marshmallows more delicious? _________________

Roasting marshmallows over a campfire is perfection already, Tay. And if it ain't broke, why fix it? _________________
