back on-topic, ive been levelling my nidoking. hes lvl62 now, soon to be high enough to deal some damage to lance. with a cold fist to the balls. i do believe i mentioned the details earlier

as im the champion of johto n kanto alrdy ive just been exploring around a few caves n such, just caught articuno in seafoam islands yay! oh and i caught it with my 3rd ultra ball lol love it when that happens

So, yeah. I just made Clair my BITCH.

I had her down to two Pokemon: Dragonair and Kingdra. My Pokemon? Quagsire.

I took Dragonair down to under 10HP and used Yawn. As Dragonair slept its merry dreams, I used Amnesia. Three times.

Needless to say, when Kingdra came out, it couldn't do more than 20HP of damage at a time. In fact, its first attack was its water move which, thanks to Quagsire's ability, HEALED ME. I proceeded to spam Earthquake.

Doing some last minute side-questing before proceeding to the Elite Four. Team's @ LV 40. Going to level to 45 at the least, but I might go all the way to 50.

My ass got handed to my by bruno; stupid machamp. Iv decided Im not goint o use any legendaries at all (I will still catch them), this will in turn actually make the later part of the game challenging.

I look forward to facing off against Reds level 88 pikachu (no wonder ash always had pikachu with him lol).

Just caught Entei, found him twice.

Fight 1 - Gyarados casts waterfall - Its super effective
Fight 2 - Ultra ball *caught*

yeah legendaries are lame to use imo. Machamp rules! hahah hes probs my favourite! tryin to set up my wireless at the moment, but i need 2 go buy another ethernet cable zz. soon i can get online n do some battling woo.
@flamez, i went to red before i beat the elite four the 2nd time n he flogged me! not so much his pikachu but i couldnt get past the lvl 84 charizard haha. i might go back soon im almost ready for him

i have ways of getting past machamp. usually, its a very dirty, dirty, dirty slowking (nasty plot 3 times). nothing stands up to a psychic from it, assuming slowking lives to cast it (damn you garchomp). in the absence of that, my pidgeot throws a pillow on things. (featherdance)

going to go to the elites now, see if i can get nidoking to kill garchomp. and anyone else who gets in the way.

Nothing relevant to the new games, but I don't think I ever used legendaries in my old Blue version. I had them, but I never used them (at least I don't think, it's been a while since I busted out my Blue version).

ok, elite 4 round 2 defeated.

red defeated. hardest pokemon was his snorlax. against the rest, i had more or less reliable counters... 20+ levels below his.

Elite 4 defeated.

Took a team of all level 41s in, was a walk in the park up until lance. Came down to the wire with my paralyzed Gyarados vs one of lances lvl 49 Dragonites (luckily not the one with thunder), one more hit and I was toast.

Funniest moment of the fight goes to SolidSnake (steelix) for 1 shotting the level 50 Dragonite (another pokemon had been a screech bitch), only to get raped by a level 49 one.

On to Kanto!

so it did.

anyway, i got my ninjask to lvl50, EV'd to be a staller/subpasser. despite that, the battle tower still finds ways to hack past me with very questionable things. lileeps who take 20% from a nidoking's earthquake, on the one out of 4 times it decides to hit.

Beat the Elite Four.

Ninetails, Girafarig, Quagsire, Gengar, & Scizor all at Lv 46.

Didn't have too much trouble. Koga's Spider Web>Baton Pass>Poison Spikes gave me a run for my money.... Until I altered my strategy and Flamethrowered him into oblivion. The roughest part was Lance. As it stands, I have no Ice, Dragon, or Electric moves on my team, so it took me about four tries.

Ninetails' Attract and Confuse Ray combo saved my ass big time, but the real hero was Gengar's Curse.

Incidentally, Girafarig ended up being pretty useless. I may do away with him later, I'm not sure. I'll see how he works once I teach him Double Team.
