Well, it's not really EPIC fail, but anyway a minor epic fail crossed with embarrassment - any time I've ever tried to chat up a girl I like. I actually forget how to say words (any words XD). Then I close my mouth and go away.

It's Darwinian selection's way of keeping me out of the gene pool. :p

Falling much like this:

at work. It was straight out of an anime. I tripped over something someone left on the floor in the warehouse, and I fell quite like that gif: arms straight out, face first. Lucky for me I didn't LAND face first, but damn that was not one of my finer moments. Other work mishaps include me slipping and falling on my ass in the middle of the floor because water from the floor cleaning/waxing machine got under a mat in front of the pharmacy and eroded the glue holding down and being tripped out on the floor by my 6-wheeler when it got caught on the back of my shoe.

A few years ago, I was coming out of school. I was headed for the bus stop, and decided to cut across the grass. At the end of the grass, there was a short, but fairly steep hill going down.

It had been raining over the day, so everything was pretty muddy.

I should have done the sensible thing and gone around the grass, and bypassed the hill. It would have taken an extra 15 seconds. But, stupid me, I went with the grass anyway, because it was faster.

Sure enough, I start down the hill at the end, slip on the slick mud like a cartoon character stepping on a banana peel, and land at the bottom of the hill in the mud (ass first, of course).

So I end up with a big brown splotch across the ass of my jeans, as well as the bottom and inside of my jacket.

Very nice. Cool Guy

Edit: Oh, and another one to share. This one will sound ridiculous, but I can swear it's true.

I had just gotten out of school, along with 3 friends. We were headed towards the crosswalk, we're way back, and the light turns green. Everyone started running, so I did too.

While I'm running, my backpack (which I was carrying over one shoulder) slid off and dropped to the ground in front of me. I wasn't able to stop running, and somehow managed to step on it. The textbooks inside gave me a nice, sturdy little platform to step off of. I basically had a running start, stepped and jumped off my backpack (I'm now airborne), turned 90 degrees in the air, and landed on my ass on the grass path. Right in front of a large group of students who were also walking that way.

The best part? It was my first day of high school. Nice way to make an impression. Neutral

...Laughing I dunno dark knight, that would have been the catalyst to my going "god DAMN that guy is cool but I'm a stupid/shy 9th grader and damn if I probably won't talk to him ever bawwwww" just sayin'.

As awesome as that sounds, I don't think it exactly screamed "that guy is cool" to many people. Very Happy

Not like it mattered much, though. Half the school smoked pot all the time anyway, and probably forgot all about it within a few days. Meh/Worried

We would have hit it right off, then. What, with me falling on my ass and getting complimented on it, and all. Cool Guy

alright, i think i may just contribute to my own thread now too Very Happy btw: nice fails so far ^^

well, my biggest fail ever was my mom telling stuff about me. hear this:

until the age of 13 i had quite a strange complex nobody apart from my parents knew about. i somehow enjoyed sleeping in the same bed as my parents did... ok, as if this isnt enough of a fail, it comes even better: i was watching "28 days later" on cinema with my cousin who was like 25 or something at that time. one or two weeks later, we had that huge family meeting where EVERYONE from my family participated. so my cousin and i were talking about the movie and he always pointed out how creepy some scenes were. there were a few laughs too and such and suddenly my mom thought it would be the hell of a joke to yell "so thats why you were sleeping over in our bed, huh?"

... you'll never recover from such moments...

I talk to myself.

Mad this happens at total random and sometimes i dont even notice (thats what some friends say). And then sometimes I make random sounds as if i am either scared or angry yet there is no reason for it at all.

These can either be swear words or my declaration of pure hatred on something. this can be very awkard since i dont always know I do that. One prime exampe;

One day I went home from work pretty happy. I looked out of the window of the train. The train stopped and passengers got in. A small kid passed me and I turned my head to look at him. Anyway my mouth blabbers some words and he quickly moves to the next cabin. Few seconds later I realised what I said which was "Sterf" which basicly translates into "Die". Now I understand the weird lookds from fellow passengers... I could Have died there of shame in that seat.

My guess is I am thinking to deep or just not "present" and I say things that are locked in a memory or something it doesnt happen often luckily, but I freak out myself and others sometimes.

Launching off your own backpack? Pretty cool from where I'm standing. Smile (Then again, if that had been me, I'd have most likely slipped on the backpack and just done a faceplant on the pavement. >_<)

O yeah, Lenc mentioning that he talks to himself reminds me.

I talk to myself all the time too. Not while I'm awake, noooo, too easy....when I was little, I used to sleepwalk around the house a lot at night; I know, because it kept waking my parents and my sister up. XP But as I reached my teens, thankfully, the sleepwalking gradually fizzled out (lucky thing too - or maybe it was only to be expected, given that I find sleeping nude more comfy. XD)

That's when the sleeptalking started instead. Very Happy The very first instance I ever had of sleeptalking was during a Scout camp (btw, we have co-ed Scout Groups in Britiain, just fyi), and the other boys in my tent told me the following morning that I'd been talking about one of the girls - who was also in our Troop, and of course was also on that very camp - all night long. In my sleep. Moaning her name over and over. Surprised

What a way to reveal you have a crush on a girl to a tent-full of 13 year old boys. *headdesk* They kept teasing me about liking her all the time after that - sadly I could never get up the courage to actually tell her I liked her, so nothing ever happened. I met her just the other day (at, of all places, her dad's funeral), and she's happily married now with two little boys.

That could've been ME!

*Slaps self with wet haddock* (Get on grip on self desu) XD

This one isn't very interesting, but it happened yesterday

at an intersection, i saw the lights turn green, so i started walking the crosswalk. about half way, a few cars started turning into the left lane, blocking my path to the cross walk. and then when i looked behind me, the entire lot was turning into there. a truck honked at me, so i turned around and went back. then all of them started going. and then i realized the green light was an actually arrow light...

it taught me a valuable lesson: screw the lights, watch the traffic.

dang, i cant remember any of the good fails... or bad. whichever it is
