God what a day. I've been dealing with this woman all day. She's called me and spoken with me at least a dozen times (not even close to joking).
First when she checked in, she said she needed to be as a far away from the center of the WiFi pulse as possible because it causes her head to hurt.
We explained we don't have WiFi.
Then she wanted a tour of the rooms, which I gave her. She finally settled on one behind a stairwell.
She called down and asked if there was a way to open the windows. There wasn't.
Then she complained that the smell of the recent carpet cleaning was bothering her (she had gotten on the floor to smell the carpet). So I switched her to a room a few doors down, which had also recently been cleaned and she had no problem with it.
Then she called me complaining that she had locked herself in her room. When I arrived, there was no problem.
She came down to the front desk four times to just shoot the shit, at one time she mentioned that she hates the colors red and green because it changes her brain chemistry.
Also she got a safe deposit box and put something in it, but hid what she put in it from our view. She claimed it was travelers checks worth $5000, but whatever it was, it was heavier than checks.
Also she said our pool was great and she was glad there was no chlorine in it (we use chlorine) because the chlorine bugs her.
Also she asked what our policy was on leaving the lamps on because she needs to see.

Actually, believe it or not, despite being Christmas colors, green and red together are very hard for the eyes to look at- that's actually the reason Wes Craven chose to make his Freddy Krueger character wear that sweater, to bring in a certain level of unease.
Otherwise, this lady is a full-fledged looney-toon. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. And that is why I'm glad I don't have a job involving any kind of customer service. _________________

Entertainment value is much higher when the bitch isn't stalking you. She asked me what shifts I worked. I told her that I work the night shift for the next two nights (which I have no problem doing because I can lock the damn doors ) _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Hooo boy! Some people be really insane in the membrane.
We had this guy who used to come in the betting shop, mostly he was alright. But one day, he came in, spouting some fairly random gibberish, started getting really agitated while watching a race, and then climbed up on one of the tables and started LAYING AN EGG. I'm not even joking, he was behaving like a chicken laying an egg.
The manager and I kidded briefly considered maybe he'd stopped taking his medication, or had started taking the wrong sort.....then another guy came in and talked him down off the tables and lead him out, apologising to us for the minor inconvenience. Apparently, he really HAD missed taking his medication that morning.... O_O
But yeah Jason, that woman needs more help than you could probably give her. _________________

@YETI: Imo, mentally instable people, who take medication, shouldn't be allowed to gamble <.<
On-Topic: I've had my fair share of weird people too, ranging from "a bit tensed" to "trippin' ballz!". One time (don't ask why) I checked the email account for a visitor at the nationalpark informationcenter I've worked at last year. It was FILLED, OVERCROWDED!!! with newsletters, commercials and whatnot!!
That so made me cringe inside -.-
Her email account got, what I like to call, internet-aids -.-
All in all, she made the impression that she wasn't fully sure what she was doing anyway. Why do you ask an information-guy to check and print your emails? Srsly, people like this need help! Protection! If they have a drivinglicence, they're a frucking threat to society! _________________

Craziness can never trump the annoyance factor of sheer incompetence. In this case, Noah (Spoony from The Spoony Experiment) with Joe and Justin having had a media pass to E3, they checked into a hotel near the convention and it seemed decent, until they actually checked in, and found that the A/C unit is unreachable, the shower doesn't work properly (definitely not something pleasant after sweating like a pig in the summer heat in a glass building.) and the wi-fi simply won't work. It was really, the hotel from hell.

I totally agree Blade, which is why after that day - once we knew he was on that medication - we refused to serve him and informed all the other branches in the area. We would've banned him earlier had we been told. _________________

Got another one.
I won't go too full into detail but suffice to say she said that she wants to leave America and move to Costa Rica (okay, that's not crazy. A tad unpatriotic, but I won't begrudge her too much for it) because "the government knows who I am and where I am and what I'm talking about right now. You think with Cell Phones they can't find out whatever you're doing? Everything is too high tech nowadays the government is trying to control us. Think about it! The government is run by lobbyists from the insurance companies, pharmaceuticals and the banks who are trying to gain more control." _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.
