It's a rumor. Nintendo don't confirmed that remake yet.

[edit] Remake of Zelda: OoT is confirmed.

          Fuck handhelds <.<

the times of long busrides are over for me (that's where I needed my GB Color), but what's the point of sitting in my room and stare at a small screen, while there's a big TV, a couch, and a Wii right next to me?

Other then that, cool news! _________________

I'm more interested in SS than an OoT remake.

That's not to say that an OoT remake isn't cool and all, but I've played the game who knows how many times (the original and Master Quest). They'll need to make some pretty special additions for me to even think of picking it up. _________________

Nintendo themselves, I don't remember. They put a lot of care in to their first party titles, so I'm sure they won't skimp out on this one either. But OoT was already such a marvel for its time, I'm left wondering what they could add that would justify a new purchase, as opposed to just playing that marvel I already own. _________________

Just like Nintendo did with Metroid: Zero Mission. That game was memorable but original Metroid always remained classic.

I hope Nintendo don't use microphone to play songs with ocarina. I have a serious problem with microphone in Zelda: Spirit Tracks and it won't let me process farther unless I have pass the duet with Rael. _________________

FUCK OCARINA OF TIME.

I have played that game SO many times. Jesus! I already own like, FOUR EFFING COPIES OF IT! (N64, GCNx2, Wii)

FUCK HYRULE FIELD, FUCK EPONA, FUCK SARIA'S SONG, ETC. ETC. ETC.!

That having been said, OoT remains one of my more memorable video game experiences and one that I have revisited somewhere around 13-ish times over the past 12 years. (8 times on N64, 2 times on GCN, 2 times on Master Quest, and 1 time on Collector's Edition) Despite it not being my favorite Zelda, I can recall from memory any section of the game should anyone ask.

(If you can't tell, I'm emotionally torn when it comes to OoT. I love the game to death, but I get sick of hearing about it. There are better Zelda games. Like most of them.) _________________

By Zelda Wii, we are talking about Skyward Sword?

Having seen the E3 footage I have to say I was actually happier with the more epic road they were taking with Twilight Princess.

I realize that Link has traditionally been in colorful kiddy adventures with only a hint of a more serious road, but I liked seeing the dark side for a change.

Not that the preceding Zelda games weren't badass. As I say Zelda II is one of my favorite Zelda games of all time, with Link to the Past and OoT taking a close second.

But I think some gimmicks are getting a little too gimmicky. Minish Cap. I hear it's amazing. But it's really cartoony looking. Spirit Tracks... that one still bugs the hell outta me and I'll probably never play it on principle.

I intend to get emulators of the Oracle games though. I hear they are amazing. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Where the eff did you hear that Minish Cap was amazing? Minish Cap is one of the lower caliber games in the series! It was fun at times, but no, it wasn't anywhere near amazing. Spirit Tracks is worth playing though! It was great!

And yes, you must play the Oracle Series. Ages is probably the fourth best Zelda game out there, right behind Zelda, ALttP, LA, and OoT. _________________
