Okay, I was gonna let NoZKey start this thread, since it was his idea, but he didn't seem to mind too badly.
Have you seen NoZkey's sig? That's badass I think. It's the ideal of what a sig plate should be. It has a bunch of information and a nice artistic flair.
I made one of my own. To anybody who plays Super Smash Bros. Brawl, it'd be cool if you made a card like this and posted it in this thread, just so we could get a visual rep of who people like.
Make your own Brawler Card
As you can see from mine, I love adult Link and Snake and I like Luigi's Mansion as my favorite regular stage (just because I like spooky levels and the music is awesome).
Of course, when I play Brawl I can spend hours on the level designer! _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

I'm not good at Brawl, so I like using Link and Snake because they are heavy characters with projectiles who also move at decent speeds. Let's face it I love Link, but he kinda is a noob character. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Mr. Game & Watch and Pikachu are my best on Brawl, but I also like Toon Link, Luigi, and Olimar.
Truth be told, I'm not terribly fond of Brawl now that I've had it for a few years. I can only play effectively with a few characters, whereas in Melee I can play competitively with all 26 characters (for the most part). Of the 36 characters in Brawl, I am only competitive with 10.
As much wonderful things that are in Brawl (fanservice, Subspace, Replays, Dodge & Recover Mechanics, No Wavedashing) too many things were taken out (Balanced Items, Creative Stages, Useful Characters, Battle Speed).
tl;dr?
Brawl = Good for 3-4 players
Melee = Good for 1v1 _________________

Melee is the superior game in my opinion. Frankly Brawl just added cookie cutter characters to expand the library, had a few decent levels true (like I said, Luigi's Mansion, FTW) but really it was trying to sell the Level Designer and SSE storyline.
Plus a chance to kick ass with the new Link without jerking your arm around like a chronic masturbator.
I'm sorry, but the swing the wiimote to swing your sword thing was fun for about five minutes. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

You're thinking of Melee. Brawl had a diverse array of characters, they just all kind of suck. Melee has two versions of nearly every character. _________________

brawl slowed the game down a little, and added heaps of flashy stuff. basically, more of a casual appeal. i agree that melee is always going to be the competitive game, but brawl is more fun to the casual gamer i am. _________________

the fact people take SSB so seriously makes me kinda sad, especially when there are so many other betters fighters out there to play competitively (BlazBlue, Street Fighter, Tekken, and so forth). Like I said I only played Brawl a few times with friends, and they were all the "no items, Final Destination" types, so I always got my ass kicked, until I forced them to turn items on. I still lost, but the matches were much closer and I actually had fun -.- |

Eff those "No items/Final D." Smashers! It's fun sure, but items and random stages are where its at! That's how the game is meant to be played! Wario Ware, FTW! _________________

Hey now that's how my roomate plays. He likes the challenge of relying on skill alone. Of course I argue that part of the skill of the game is being able to improvise along with the course and items. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.
