TerraEarth Texas Hold'Em

Rules:

1. Texas Hold'Em is a variation of Poker.
2. Three cards (the Flop) will be displayed on the table. Two cards (the Pocket) will be dealt to each player.
3. After one round of betting a fourth card (the Turn) will be displayed on the table.
4. After a second and final round of betting the fifth card (The River) will be displayed on the table.
5. Use the combination of the five cards on table with the two individual cards in your pocket to create the best poker hand.
6. As with Blackjack, you are playing against the dealer, not against each other.
7. To play, post DEAL ME IN at any time.

BETTING

1. During each round a minimum and maximum bet will be established.
2. To place your bet, send the gems to Jason Tandro.
3. Due to the potential confusion, we are foregoing raising. One time betting only.
4. The idea is that as each card falls you have a better idea of your chances of winning or not.
5. If your hand is better than the dealers you will recieve back double what you bet (in other words the bet you gave me, plus the bet that I owe you).
6. If your hand is not better than the dealers you will forfeit your bet.

POKER HANDS

(in order from best to worst)

Royal Flush: A Straight Flush with the highest cards of any suit.

Straight Flush: A Straight of the same suit.

4 of a Kind: Four identical cards, one of each suit.

Full House: Three cards of one number and two of another.

Flush: Any five cards of the same suit.

Straight: Five cards in numeric order. Note: Face Cards go King, Queen, Jack then 10. Ace can be high (higher than king) or low (lower than 2).

3-of-a-kind: Three numerically identical cards.

Two pair: Two separate pairs.

Pair: A single pair of identical cards.

RANKS

0 Wins- Player
5 Wins- Gambler
10 Wins- Texas Pro
20 Wins- Texas Shark
30 Wins- Texas Master

If the river is a 7 of anything but clubs, I'm boned. If it's a 2 or 4, I'm boned.

But a club, king, or anything else works for me, so at least I'm favoured.

I'll max out my bet.
