35 € entry, 4 € parking fee. I paid for both, so 74 €.

Hey now, raini. All that money will serve you quite well.

You should stock it up for a couple of years until you have enough to create a clone who would do all the work for you!

You would take over when it came to the forums and dealing with barista boy! Laughing

Canada loves me!

I got an excellent guest comment about my performance. They checked in on July 1st and I said "Happy Canada Day" to them.

They apparently loved it so much they gave me an outstaning comment.

It already does; I can buy my coffee, video games, magic cards, and gas with it. I just hate doing the job. Very Happy

Just as long as any clone of me isn't like Bitch Stewie or Bitch Brian. then we'll be ok.

My body hates me.

Stayed up all night last night. My hope was that if I could stay awake until noon I would go to bed and then wake up around 8 or 9 giving me a couple hours to get ready for work and enough energy to make it through... are you ready for this... my 11-7 shift for Thursday AND THEN an 8AM-4:30 PM bookstore shift.

Then you throw in the fact that I gotta run all over town paying bills afterwards, which will take me until at least 6, that gives me FOUR HOURS to sleep in preparation for my Friday 11-7.

Heh... well that's not the worst of it. You see, I kinda failed big time. Passed out at around 9 AM and woke up at noon and then again at 4. At 4 I was hungry so I got some food. Big mistake. That energized me and woke me up. So I said "i'll stay up for a couple hours and then take a nap before I go to be again".

Well I laid in bed from 7 o'clock on... but didn't fall asleep until around 9... and woke up an hour later.

Yeah...

Jason, that really sucks. It sucks to be on such a shitty schedule- believe me.

I left work after four hours today. Overtime is AWESOME.

They gave the entire overnight crew a suprise raise, to compensate because we no longer get paid for our breaks. It was 75 cents- about two and a half years of average raises for me. Very Happy

Work still makes me hate life.

Summertime even moreso. Y'see, I don't sleep well during the summer. I think in the past 4 days I've gotten maybe somewhere between 13-16 hours of sleep. Right now I've got a radical headache, and this is after caffeine and food, and it's all because I've gotten ~14 hours of sleep in 4 days. The heat makes me insane and I can't sleep at all, so I'll lay in bed and have my eyes closed but have it do absolutely jack for me so I don't sleep. And then once I do fall asleep I have to wake up maybe 2-3 hours later for work.

Goddamn heat. I can't get comfortable at all. Sad I like sleeping in winter more, since I can get comfortable a lot easier.

I remember one summer I drank like, four full cans of Arizona Ice Tea, in like five hours. I got so violently sick afterwards, I can no longer drink them.

I got so sick I stayed in bed all day. I was trying to sleep, I felt so bad- I literally laid in bed for fourteen hours without moving, and could not sleep. I ended up going to work- and didn't feel tired whatsoever. No sure if it was because my body was at rest, or because of all that sugar in-take.

Raini: Get yourself a box fan, put it right next to your bed. I mean, it's no air conditioner, but it makes it a bit easier to get comfortable.

I have a fan that points right at me during the summer. I usually crack my window too so I have airflow. It does nothing. Sad IT'S LIKE THE GOGGLES AND HOW THEY DO NOTHING.

Gotta keep the window shut- that's the ticket.

I can't have my window open- due to the humidity, it makes my room all icky and gross. So I keep it shut, run the box fan.

Also, I'm sort of used to sleeping in the heat- I can never get comfortable, and I've even run my box fan during the winter. I think it's all mental thing sometimes.

Why don't you get an AC? Too 'spensive?

We have no humidity here, so for us, the heat just stays in the room. With the window open some, all the hot air leaves and I have continuous cooler air.

We have a swamp cooler that we run during the hottest part of the day up til my mom goes to sleep (11:30pm-ish) and it cools the house down. No need for AC in the house with that.
