This is the trailer for the upcoming DS game Fractured Soul.
Most DS games use the second screen as a handy inventory, menu or map feature while the action takes place on the other screen. In other cases, the action is spread out over both. But in this case, it's more like two games playing out for you to manage at once.
Remember how The World Ends With You had you manage combat on two screens simultaneously? Remember how Ikaruga had you switch polarities to protect yourself from bullety death? This game has elements of both.
Your character is on one screen, playing through a level. On the other screen, you have a shadowy doppelganger that mimics your movements, traversing a level laid out differently. To progress, you'll need to switch between levels to avoid the hazards in one level, while working through the safe area of the other.
You can only be hurt on the screen you're 'active' in. Enemy fire coming your way? Switch to the other level, and kill the enemies there, or progress past a hazard. Once you have an opening, return to the first level and take out the enemies.
This looks like it'll really test people's reflexes. I'll be giving this one a shot. _________________

The link you have in your post gives me nothing but "HAHAHAHA CLAIMED COPYRIGHT!" but I found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqCQCg95_2I
That said, it looks interesting and is certainly different. _________________

I don't have the patience or focus for this kind of stuff anymore.
When I used to RP on AOL, one time I was RPing with four people in 1on1 IM's, and I was on two different names in the same chat RPing, as well as handling a few different conversations. These days, I'm lucky to focus on a single IM. :/ _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it.
