Yep, it's mah birthday today folks - 28th. 28 is a so called "perfect number", ya know, so maybe this'll be a good year for me. ("perfect" means that the divisors of 28 add up to 28 - 1+2+4+7+14=28. End maths-geekiness)

Gah, I feel old....especially since I started noticing a lot of white creeping into my hair and beard in the last few months; and I'm already more bald than my 58y/o dad.

And how am I going to spend this lovely day? Stuck in a benefits office being told how and why I suck at interview technique. ALL DAY, 9 til 5. What a drag.... -_-

LOL. Later today, after my long stint at the jobcentre, I then have to go out and buy my birthday cake myself, because once again, my father forgot to get it in advance.

Though at least unlike last year, I remembered my birthday. Hoo boy, was that one embarrassing....woke up on August 7th and suddenly thought "crap, my birthday was yesterday and I've not had cake, birthday prezzies, special birthday dinner, anything!" I also hadn't updated my b-day prezzie wishlist, it was a week later before any presents arrived.
I had massive egg on my face for that one. XD
Family forgetting your birthday is bad enough, but when even you forget as well....that's just so wrong.
