Now, some of you guys probably think it's very hard, or maybe even impossible, but I actually beat Ganon in A Link to the Past with only 1/2 of a heart! If you think you're a true master at Zelda, see if you can do it for yourself! Especially you, Tay. Let's see if you can do it!
Since I did it, that explains for how awesome I am at that game. Not to brag at all, just saying.

its just not getting hit. difficult, but not impossible.

That's my point. I didn't get hit during the entire time of the final battle. And yes, I did this on an emulator.
As for the swordless guide, HOLY CRAP! I'll consider doing this.

on emulator it is a lot less difficult. impressive, still, but not as badass if youd done it on the console. and as for the swordless run, i tried it once, but couldnt get the first step done (getting through the guards) _________________

Yeah, the thing is, I used to have the console while borrowing a game from a friend, and I couldn't get past the Dark Palace back in the day. Once I got an emulator and the ROM, that's when I actually beat the game. Man, that game is fun. |

PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN
j/k. It's doable, if a bit difficult. I've had no-damage runs against him myself (albeit not on half a heart). _________________

None, really. Just that I wasn't actually going for a no-damage run, and didn't have the threat of a 'game over' over my head if I did get hit.
But for all practical purposes, yeah... no difference. _________________

Well, I was planning on doing a minimal Heart run sometime soon.
How 'bout this? I'll record myself beating every boss without getting hit. OHSNAPNOHEDIDN'T! _________________

Mothula should be doable, since you can see the spikes coming from across the room. Besides, if you stay on him, most of the spikes probably won't get a chance to move.
Blind could be trickier, since the room does tend to get a bit crowded with all the fireballs. But if you don't get surrounded by Blind and both extra heads, or don't get too close to the heads at all, you should see them coming.
The only boss I can see posing too much of a threat is Moldorm, since his movements can be unpredictable. Keeping your sword held out will help, but you run the risk of bouncing yourself down a floor. _________________

Blind and Moldorm are the hardest ones to tackle without taking damage. Mothula is much easier than he appears. _________________

i think moldorm only hits me once or twice, usually. not that difficult. i also dont remember blind being hard... i guess with all the crap flying around it ends up more as a bullet hell boss than anything else _________________

Blind isn't tough, but beating him without taking a hit or two is. _________________
