This is not a for sure yes or a for sure no, but I was thinking possibly in the distant future that TerraEarth would be home to the game Robotrek. Possible other games we would add would be Actraiser or EVO. Yes, our specialty would still be SB, IOG and TN, but I dont think adding more game coverage would hurt. What do you all think? |

Hm. I would say keep it Enix/Quintet games for the time being. I think that way we can keep the games at least somewhat related. _________________

Of course. I'm aiming for Enix RPGs on the Super Nintendo only.
Two games that are "for sures" would be Brain Lord and Robotrek. |

I think it's a good idea, but like raini said- keep it close to the heart.
I've actually been interested in playing some of these games... so much so I picked up a copy of the original ActRaiser some time back... _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. Actraiser would be another game I would be adding. |

I can see arguments for both.
On the one hand, more coverage would attract a wider range of people, and keeping it with Enix-Quintet games would be sort of "in house". Act Raiser is, at least, a spiritual sucessor to the trilogy anyways.
That being said, if we overgeneralize we risk petering out as just another video game site. What we do best, and what we've been all about for the past ten years, has been the Soul Blazer Trilogy.
Then again, if we don't adapt, we become stagnant and that leads to decay just as fast.
I'd say start small. Add ActRaiser to the mix. Beyond that take it slow, one game at a time. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

I'm thinking more along the lines of Robotrek or Brain Lord, seeing that they are RPG-type games. |

i dont see why we shouldnt include other games, as long as it is still well emphasised that we are a site dedicated to the soulblazer trilogy. _________________

Correct. The triology will still be the main focus of the site. Not that Brain Lord or Robotrek will be lesser than the Big 3, but they won't have as in-depth coverage as the Big 3, possibly. |

If we are going to, we have to start with ActRaiser because, like Jason said, it is the precursor to Soul Blazer. (and really should be considered part of the series anyway, due to extreme similarities and references)
I don't know how I feel about adding Enix games though. I really feel we should stick with Quintet. Maybe include Granstream Saga just on principle. But definitely ActRaiser and Robotrek. I mean, do we really want Dragon Quest on this site? _________________

Box: here's an idea.
Assign some members to work on certain games. Doing this will take a lot of the load off your back and would allow you to have more games on your website. Reward the members in Gems and place badges next to their name saying "Contributor" or something. There are members of this community who seem dedicated to the site. |
