Miss Prime Blue Posted: Thu Nov 18, 2010 3:55 am Post subject: What's your username about? |

Not sure if there already was a topic like this, but I couldn't find one ...
What does your username stand for? is it something just random or unique?
You can list all of your usernames (if you have had more than one), if you want.
Mine:
tenchisouzou (2005)
When I registered in 2005, I first became aware of this site and three other games besides IOG. So, I chose the japanese title for Terranigma. Not too original, but I chose a name that fit the theme of the site.
Miss Prime Blue (2009?)
I just took parts of my usual name everywhere else (Miss M. / Miss Moonlight) and put "Prime Blue" in front of it. I liked the way it sounded.
"Prime Blue" (プライムブルー) is from Terranigma, and it's the blue-ish clouds you see in Crysta at the start of the game (or Crystal Holm, as it's called in the original).
It's also the name of one of the tracks on the official Tenchisouzou soundrack (#31.) _________________ Whenever there's light, there are shadows.

ugh, i hoped i never had to explain that one again... oh well, here we go... again...
everything started way back when i was like 12 or something. there was this game called "supreme snowboarding" where the standard username was "blade". i was like "hey, i need an internet name anyway, why not taking this one". and somehow it became "bloody_blade"... cause, you know, blade just wasnt "cool" enough back then. so my neighbor was like "oh dear, this nickname doenst fit you. you should take something like funny chicken". and funny chicken it was. and, well, time passed and usernames changed and in the end, "chicken" is what remained... _________________

well, friends called my "psychochild" because of... various reasons mainly the way I treated my girlfriend at that time. and although this nickname was only mentioned for a couple of days, I took it as my "nickname". _________________

I joined as (and this is probably something new for the "new generation") as the angsty, gothmetalhead I was - 'Blade_OnMy_Veins'
And upon realising how frigging moronic this was (6 months or so later) I asked to get it changed to 'Blade' solely.
The first name speaks for itself, and Blade is just the leftover. It became sort of a trademarked in Jasons TerraEarth-Adventures - the warrior Blade with his Blade. _________________

Flamez was my first online alias, just liked the sound of it. TE is the only place I use it now, I much prefer Lok. _________________

...Do I even need to explain it?
I've actually considered changing my TE name for some time... likely to the shortened "SBF" or "SBiF."
I've had other internet alias' over the years... XShadowwalkerX was an earlier one from the AOL days... RyanEvrist was a character I had once RPed many years ago... I can't think of any others right now. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. We've done this at least twice since I've been here, but I don't know where the topics are currently resting either.
N-E-WAY
tay - From my middle name (which is what I go by irl)
120 - Number of collectible stars in Super Mario 64
n64 - Nintendo 64
I've been using this screen name since 1999 when I signed up for my first Hotmail account (which is still active. HOLY CRAP). Originally I was going to go with Taylord, but my dad felt that would be inappropriate, and since I was all over the N64 at the time (and thanks to Mario, 120 had become my favorite number), tay120n64 it was.
Since then, I have taken on two separate persona for the use of online gaming: Sacred Stalker (which I no longer use) and Koholint Knight.
Sacred Stalker was created as the anti-thesis of my gaming rival at the time, who's name was Darkslayer. Incidentally, I have also incorporated both his and my aliases into The Aemarchian Chronicles, a multi-volume Adventure novel I have been working on for some time.
Koholint Knight is a Zelda reference. Link's Awakening to be precise. Though ideally it refers to Link, it could also refer to knights from Kanalet Castle prior to its insurrection.
Tay120n64 is the name I use absolutely everywhere except for Xbox Live. If you see it, its me. (though occasionally I have to alter it to tay120n643, tay120gba, or tay120snes for various stupid reasons) _________________

Rainichan is what I signed up with. It's the name I go by pretty much everywhere. After needing a change though, I changed my name to my current name, inferiare. Inferiare is a Hymmnos word from the Ar tonelico series meaning 'beloved'. Funny enough, I wasn't looking at the translations, I was looking for how the word looked/sounded and then the translation was looked at. _________________

Jason Tandro's always been my alter ego. It's the name of a character in this story / game I was working on, but I've basically just adapted it to be my internet personality. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.
