"So what are we doing now?" Vladrac asked psychokind as the two men walked towards the mall.

"Hunting down the undead menace and its puppet master. We should start at the human colony here in the mall," psychokind ordered.

"I'm surprised you didn't the puppy. Tonight is the full moon, it would be expedient-"

"We won't need that. When the day is over the ritual of ascension will be complete," psychokind explained.

"Ah yes. I had almost forgotten. The return of Alucard is close at hand," Vladrac smiled.

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves. My powers will have returned to their normal strength, nothing more. However yes, in the end that is what I am hoping for," psychokind nodded.

"And what of Brother Lestat?" Vladrac asked raising his eyebrow.

psychokind smiled. "He was my mentor, but he deserved his fate. I am sworn to kill his murderer by honor, nothing more."

"Still the man was heir of Alucard before you. Does he not-"

"No, he doesn't," psychokind said firmly. "There is a new heir. And he does not suffer fools who risk our way of life by getting careless."

Vladrac seemed affronted by this scolding, but he nodded resolutely. "I understand, Brother. Or should I call you Lord now?"

Psychokind's expression softened slightly. "Unlike Lestat, I do not cast aside my comrades... Brother." Psychokind patted Vladrac's shoulder and continued walking down the street. "So this Libra, is it? What do we know about him?"

Vladrac shrugged. "All I know is that he is one of the Brotherhood. And he's not our mysterious leader, Pisces. If the rumors are true, Libra is part of the Aegis staff... or was, rather. Didn't Walker leave specifics."

"No, sadly he left generalities, found out easily by so much as a websearch. That human Natal used mortal methods of gathering information and found out as much, our gifts should yield better results," psychokind sighed.

"It is because of the ritual. Your powers are still weakened," Vladrac said in an almost comforting tone.

"Perhaps. Or perhaps these twelve men are dealing with powers that even we haven't seen yet."

"They are all humans though."

"Yes, everyone is human until they aren't," psychokind said coolly. "Do not forget that the Teksac, werewolves... even some of our clan started as mere mortals."

"And they are not a threat. They have not been baptized in the darkness as we have," Vladrac replied opening one of the mall doors for psychokind.

"I'm not in the mood for a sermon, Vladrac. Yes I know they are generally not a threat. However I must admit, I am growing a little concerned. Such power in the hands of mortals is a dangerous thing," psychokind sighed.

A horrible moaning sound echoed through the halls. The sound of gunshots rang out and a man loaded with armaments of all kinds ran down the corridor towards psychokind and Vladrac. He was screaming and laughing maniacally as a horde of zombies followed him.

"They came on a truck! They brought drugs for the other humans! Hahahahaha! The drugs didn't work! They turned them all into these beasts! Come on kill the lot of them! Hahahahahah!"

The guntoting man fell to the ground and within seconds the horde overcame him, tearing him apart. His screams of pain could not match the shrillness of his laughter, the pitch raising eerily as the vocal cords were stretched and tightened.

"We're too late," psychokind sighed. "The humans in this area have already been destroyed."

"Another location perhaps?" Vladrac asked.

"Perhaps not," psychokind sighed turning to face a small group of zombies blocking their way out. One of them was wearing a security guard uniform and missing an arm.

As soon as Chicken arrives at the Pub in Euro he sees the truck with the tainted drugs. It was on its side and on fire. There was shooting coming from the pub. Guns were pointed out of the barricades.

"Well I showed up just in time didn't I?" Chicken cursed.

Chicken raised his weapon as two of the zombies rushed towards him.

Freedan stopped the jeep. They were now in the thick set of woods near the Angel Village.

"This is as good a place to park as any," Natal nodded, hopping out of the back.

"We're a mile away from the town," Mazeura commented.

"I assume that's not a problem for you, you're just wondering why I did it," Freedan nodded, taking the keys out of the ignition and turning off the engine.

"You like to keep your affairs private. Work from a distance, probably a side effect of your condition. How long have you been a werewolf?" Mazeura asked.

"A year and a half," Freedan replied.

"I've been a vampire for a little over thirty five," Mazeura nodded.

"Thirty-five is young for a vampire. In vampiric terms you're basically a teenager," Natal commented.

"Any first generation vampire is automatically considered Teksac. Unless you can prove that one of your ancestors was in the Order of Alucard, you are vermin," Mazeura added.

"But I thought you had to be bitten to become a vampire," Natal added.

"To be a Teksac vampire, yes. The Order of Alucard vampires are different. They are either directly created by whoever is the current Dracula incarnation, or are created by vampiric breeding. Some of us don't like to be batsitters and are ridiculed and treated as second-class," Mazeura scoffed.

"Do you miss being human?" Freedan asked.

Mazeura smirked. "Do you?"

Freedan sighed. "It's a process. And it's not like I like losing control of myself once a month."

"But you've learned to temper it. You can do amazing things. And since you're undead, you're immortal," Mazeura explained. "There are definitely perks. Do I miss being human? No. I don't miss the daylight, or the taste of ordinary food. Drinkin blood and living in the darkness is a small price to pay for the power that comes with it."

"You know what they say about power though, right," Natal quipped.

"With great power comes great responsibility?" Mazeura mocked. "Or perhaps absolute power corrupts absolutely."

"No. There's always somebody with more of it," Freedan grinned patting Mazeura on the shoulder. He moved towards the town, but a lurching sensation in his stomach caused him to stop on the spot.

"You okay Freedan?" Natal asked.

"We're getting close to the Full Moon. I'm worried about the others in WereHouse," Freedan sighed.

"They'll be fine," Mazeura explained. "I'm sure Natal knows what he's doing. My concern right now is you. You'll have only a few hours transformed. You must contact the werewolves before they attack the settlement again."

"And what will you do?" Natal asked.

"I'll go into town and look for the Brotherhood," Mazeura replied.


Freedan's Options:

A) Head to Clan Rock
Head to the place where the werewolves are meeting and try to stop them before they attack.

B) Head to the Forest Clearing
Meet with the tribe in the middle of their march, to avoid sparking their anger behind enemy lines.

C) Wait at the Jeep
Wait for the werewolves near the town. It's safest for you, but riskiest for the civilians.


Mazeura's Options:

A) Check with the High Priestess
The High Priestess of Angel Village is slightly xenophobic, especially of vampires, but she has the most information

B) Check with the Teksac Tribe near the coast
A small group of Teksac have taken up a home near the Mu Coast. Perhaps asking them about this would be a good start.

C) Go with Freedan
He may need help fighting off the werewolves if things get ugly.

"It's best that my zombie hordes stay near the coast," inferiare says as she walks up to Blade's APC. "But that doesn't mean they'll stay there for long."

"You've got a family to feed," Blade sighs, hopping out of his vehicle. "How touching."

"Listen we're working together to take down the Brotherhood. We can go back to killing each other later, alright?" inferiare mocked.

Blade grunted. "Do you have any ideas?"

"Well we were supposed to regroup at the Desert Gambling Hall. But I'd like to go catch that Ju-On for my Orb of Control."

"We have to find Aquarius," Blade protested.

"We both have agendas. Mine will be easier with a Ju-On on our side. Which reminds me starting at tonights full moon I'll be able to summon a werewolf bodyguard," inferiare smiled. "It'll be just like traveling with Freedan!"

inferiare's evil laugh echoed across the shores of the beach as Watermia drew closer.

Blade and inferiare Options:

A) Go to the Beach
The Ju-On there has been terrorizing the populace. It may have spread!

B) Go to the Desert Gambling Hall
A good place to get information... at least that's the hope.

C) Go to the Russian Glass Barge
Play a game where your very life is at stake! And maybe learn something in the process.

EverPhoenix could not believe his luck. Arriving in the town center of Dao he saw a large promotion going on. Sagittarius stood on a large stage, surrounded by market specialists from Aegis Corp. With his bald head and shaggy beard, he really did have the appearance of a mighty centaur.

"These new drugs are proven to work against all forms of the virus. They were developed by my close friend Timothy Walker, who tragically lost his life trying to find the cure. If this drug saved even one life, I know his death will not be in vain!" Saggitarius cried dramatically.

"You scumbag," EverPhoenix cursed under his breath.

Options:

A) Attack!
Who needs words? Let's just take on Saggitarius here and now!

B) Protest
Perhaps you can prove to the people that he is lying and stop the effort all together, maybe inciting a riot that would drive out Aegis!

C) Bide your time
Patience is a virtue, and now might not be the best time to act...

i'll yell out something about getting him to try out the drugs in front of everyone. if he tries to dodge around it, start telling random people nearby that they are the cause, not the cure.

so, a slightly altered take on option B).
