|
|
Hey, everyone.
If there are other fans of the "Tales of..." series of RPGs here, you've probably heard that Namco-Bandai is going to localize "Tales of Graces F" in the near future, partly due to lots of fan response.
Since I saw a lot of the action play out on their Facebook page, it got me thinking: could the same thing work for getting the three Soul Blazer games up on the Virtual Console?
So if you've got time, swing by Square Enix DLG's Facebook page (Downloadable games-- I can't post a link because I'm only a junior member) and let them know you want to see those three games. We may be pleasantly surprised. |

Huh. That's an idea, at least. Anyone else got a link?
Course, I could just say to post your 10 posts and post the link too, which also means you should stick around... _________________

Here's the Square-Enix page.
Not sure if there is another page dealing specifically with Digital Games, but hey, its a start. _________________

I know TerraEarth would get a considerable amount of more traffic if the trilogy was released on the VC. We really need to make this happen. Any more ideas anyone? |

When the Virtual Console concept was first announced, I was very excited about it because I was hoping a lot of my old faves would be available.
However, the main issue is typically the licensing, so it's pretty much up to the game dev companies to agree to the idea. It would be cool though. _________________ The Vacant Light |

I would think Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia would be easy enough to get up there, since they already came to the US in cartridge form. Terranigma, on the other hand... Well, we'd need some way to OK the British version for a US release.
Does Quintet still exist? They might need to have a say in it, too... but did they do ActRaiser? I know that one's up; I've got it myself.
EDIT: The Facebook page I was talking about is Square Enix DLG, which deals solely in downloadable titles. You can jump to it from the posted link, though. |

Looks like Quintet worked on ActRaiser after all, so I guess that wouldn't be the problem... Well, try posting requests at Square Enix DLG anyway. |

Well, they do, just not in really making their own games. They help with other games though. _________________

So, has anyone made a mark on Square's page yet? I did once, but that was a few weeks ago... |
