So, if you would have to choose between being blind and being deaf, which one would it be, and why? _________________ Hey. I'm Fazermint. And I'm Juicy!

Deaf. I don't really like talking to people anyway.
But seriously... if you were blind, you couldn't play video games. That reason enough? _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. It sucks to be both but suprisingly, I'd probably choose blind. Listening to music, television and so forth is more important to me than playing video games.
Of course if I were blind I couldn't write or design video games. See it's an impossible choice... Realistically it's probably less inconvenient to be deaf than it is blind, but I'm not sure. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

The silence would be disturbing, but I would probably be able to function better if I were deaf rather than blind.
Don't get me wrong, blind people get by just fine, but I just can't imagine myself not being able to see. _________________

Though I love being able to see, I would probably go nuts if I couldn't hear music or speech or anything... and being a writer, I'd use my imagination to see. |

Deaf.
I love music but i can't imagine myself living without seeing anything... I couldn't write, watch anime (yes, i could being deaf), program, play videogames, designing anything, etc... it will be hard to life like that..
I don't talk too much so i don't lose much by being deaf... i couldn't play instruments or listen to music... |

definitely deaf. seeing is your primal sense and I guess I'd still be better off listening to silence for the rest of my life than not seeing anything. I think I'd even feel comfortable pretty quick with the world being set to mute. _________________

this. I wouldn't want to live without music, but beeing blind would be HELLUVALOT more difficult than beeing deaf. _________________

Well I am both deaf and blind but I have developed some pretty sweet skills to be able to still do normal people things like post on forums and run a website...jk.
I'd rather be deaf. |

If I were anymore antisocial, id be blind. But I do get lonely and I love the internet too much. Anime, videogames....
If anything, I'd rather be mute though its not a choice in this thread. |

Indeed, mute would be the most common choice if I would have included it.
I'd choose deaf. I'm really visually oriented, and I'd go crazy if I was blind. I had lost my sight for a day because I hit my head, and I was freaking out already. The darkness, man! It's all just a black void, and it really sucks to try to walk. I'd give up listening to music or hearing people talk, but I think that's less of a sacrifice than giving up what's the primal sense to me, as Chicken said. All my hobbies, besides music, are visually oriented: gaming, anime, movies, nature strides, mountain climbing. I'd be bored to death if I couldn't do any of those hobbies any more. _________________ Hey. I'm Fazermint. And I'm Juicy!
