@Fazermint: I actually agree with psychokind on this one. The idea of a special day to excuse guys for acting like jerks the other 364 seems a mite pointless to me. If you really love somebody, you shouldn't need a special day to show it.

Not really. There are way more important celebrations in a relationship than a random religious holiday which has all but sold out to be a corporate day of candy dispensing.

Anniversaries, birthdays... hell even Christmas and Thanksgiving I think hold more romantic value in the life of a relationship than Valentine's Day.

I honestly think this day is designed to make singles depressed. I hVe never been in a relationship over the stupid period, humbug!
