I believe I have said that already. Rolling Eyes

I know you did. I'm just repeating that fact.

Quote:
Perhaps I am bitter, against homophobes, against religous zealots, against bullshit. And I personally can't see any reason to be proud of a nation who stole land from the natives, almost exterminating their race in the name of "Christianity" , crippled the economy of so many South American Nations, partake in wars that didn't help at all but made the problem worse, oppress ethnic minorities while claiming to be the land of the free, whom more than half of their people voted for some trigger-happy wanker who suppurts opression of minorities.

Then why be a Christian, out of curiousity? I don't see how America crippled the economy of South American nations, if anything we crippled our own economy. I agree that these stupid wars caused more problems than anything, and they should stop. People are needlessly dying. I don't agree that ethnic minorities are being opressed, most are illegals coming into this country because we ARE a free country. We're practically openinig up our boarders to let them in. Yes, people voted for Bush, but Kerry wouldn't have been any better (in my opinion). Why do you think I didn't vote for either of them?

Quote:
And worst of all, there was never an apology or an offer to rectifiy the situation, they go on as if nothing had ever happened. I mean, really, which country hasn't been royally screwed over by the US?

Yeah, countries have been screwed over by the US, but we've been screwed over by other countries as well.

Quote:
This would sound immature, but I don't care anymore. It would have been much easier if everyone who isn't a total fucktard or a moron had already left the US, then it would have been much easier. BAM! No more Homophobia! BAM! No more KKK! BOOM! No more fucking morons!

Being as these are the end times, they would just keep happening. The world is just going to get worse. How do you think I feel because I live in the most arrogant and hated country in the world? If I ever went over to Iraq, I could be decapitated just for being an American. But unfortunately, since like I said, these are the end times (for Christians, at least, dunno how others see it) things are going to get worse.

Quote:
That felt good.

I agree. Even Freedan said that ranting is theraputic. It is, though I don't try to do it too often. Just not like that unless I get very very annoyed (on top of having a crappy day at work  )

Quote:
Now I want all of you to know that this is just an opinion and if you have to disagree with my opinions, just disagree peacefully and lay the fuck off me.

I know it is. And so was my rant. Just saying how I see it in my point of view.
Quote:
I've dealt with enough morons and trolls to last me a lifetime and I don't want to have to deal with it.

It's just going to get worse later in life. Just wait til you get a job. That's when it all goes to hell. Laughing

Quote:
One more thing, telling someone to STFU is quite contradictory to your whole "Freedom of speech thing" I'll see you around.

Not really. It's my freedom of speech to tell someone to STFU, considering it's my opinion that is being exercised into speech. I was just getting sick of it, and those were the only words that came to mind.

Sorry if I offended you, but that's the only way I could get my point across, being nice about it just wasn't working. Angry Raini = not so pretty Raini. Yeah, the whole 9/11 thing only phazed me for the first two days, but even so, 5000 innocent lives were erased that day, and that saddens me, so seeing someone saying that America should be nuked is a little offensive to me. You know I love you Joan (I'm your adopted sister, remember?) just try to be a lil nicer? ^^;

And people, don't gang up on Joan. That way we'll be a nice, big happy family. And if we aren't, I'll have to use the cat of nine-tails to make us one. Twisted

This war we are fighting is not being fought for the reasons it should be. You can never really defeat terrorism. As long as their are heated feelings between people, there will always be terrorists. It may not be the same kind which is so highly defined by people like Bush, but it doesn't matter.

The war we fight is just like any other- lives will be lost, but in the end, one side will win. And when that times comes, we wait another decade, or two, or three when the next war starts.

No one will ever learn from their mistakes, the human race will never be able to. In the end, we will more than likely destroy ourselves. And when that happens, I will just laugh, because I had seen it coming from the very start.

Very Happy *hugs Raini and Robbie*

I threw in the crippled economy, because around the time of Nixon in power, there's this Augustus Pinochet affair. He was elected by the US to replace a communist governent in Chile because the US didn't like the politics, and don't forget Fidel Castro in Cuba. The US also issued trade vetoes in various south american countries.

As for the Ethnic Minorities thing, you know I wasn't talking about racism, I was talking about discriminiation on sexuality and the double standards associated with it. Teenage boys speak out against gays with such hatred in their voice....and then they go home to jack off to lesbian porn, the same logic also applies to some girls as well, they speak out against homosexuality, yet have a joygasm everytime Yaoi is mentioned.

Even so, there's a report on a tainted poll saying 50% of the Americans wanted to restrict the civil rights of muslims. Rolling Eyes I'll quote it.

Quote:
According to a poll conducted by Cornell University, nearly half of Americans believe Muslim's should be restriced.

Cornell Poll

Quote:
ITHACA, N.Y. - Nearly half of all Americans believe the U.S. government should restrict the civil liberties of Muslim Americans, according to a nationwide poll.

The survey conducted by Cornell University also found that Republicans and people who described themselves as highly religious were more apt to support curtailing Muslims' civil liberties than Democrats or people who are less religious.

Researchers also found that respondents who paid more attention to television news were more likely to fear terrorist attacks and support limiting the rights of Muslim Americans.

Quote:
Cornell student researchers questioned 715 people in the nationwide telephone poll conducted this fall. The margin of error was 3.6 percentage points.

But I do understand you point.

It's the end times? Really? I'm a christian (not a very good one... I guess "true" christians would say I'm not one at all) and I didn't know that.
Where does it say that?! *reads bible*

Sad Apocalypse/Armageddon/Ragnarok/Judgement day/End times ...OH NOES Wink Things always get worse before they get better. No need to worry about that, you're gonna die anyway. Too many people are giving up on others and on themselves. Train. Develop your l337 5|<!||z. Use conflict to change. Stuff. And don't talk like me. Don't listen to me either. You'll be fine. And who are you? Stop! No! I'm not talking to you! *run*

Radical Christians are better than the mainstream ones who follow the crowd. These kind of Christians has their own set of beliefs that they would fight to the death for. The Mainstream ones.....they just follow the herd, inevitably to their own doom when Satan decides to be the shepherd.

As long as you have your own set of beliefs, believe in God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit and believe that you're a Christian, there's no reason that you aren't. Just remember that the word of the bible is to be taken by the heart and not by the word. Wink

I hope I get to see the 'end of the world' while I am alive, tought I really hope it happens after I am 33 at least. However if I die right now, or if things end now, I won't complain, I don't have the right to. And no, the reason of why I have no right to it's probably not something you can guess, and I don't wanna say it coz I try to keep my religious acts to myself.

Anyways, we are all gonna die. When I dieing I will probably be pestering people around me and telling me that if they feel sad for me or cry, and stop living their lives like the do, or dressing in black and stuff, if they don't go back to how they were in a week or less, I will do what I can to come back and smack them.

I don't think we'll be here for the Ragnarok. I'm pretty positive of that. I don't think God and the Bible and Angels 'n stuff is a obvious as people think. If God can create the whole fucking universe, with atoms and molecules and evolution and stuff, it won't be as simple as *poof*.

I think we as mankind should just try to make "heaven on earth" ourselves, before we rely on God for anything. I never believed in God as someone that does something earthly. He's just there for mental support. We should stop worrying about him (Him Rolling Eyes) and just live our own fucking lives.

...Don't really know why I'm swearing. Since Joan came along, I just have to use my new words! Fucktard! Cuntbag! *has joygasm*

Nah, Einstein once said that he was more sure of the infiniteness of human stupidity than he was on the universe. Razz
