TerraEarth: Dark Gaia Crisis

Okay so I've begun work on a prequel game to TerraEarth: Absolute. This will tell the story of the Dark Gaia Crisis which takes place five years prior to the events of TerraEarth: Absolute.

This is going to be a very short game... really more of an expansion pack to TE:A and sadly many TerraEarth veterans won't even make an appearance in the main battle cast due to the nature of the game.

Now since this game is a prequel to TerraEarth Absolute, I'm simply going by what storylines I'd already received at that point in time.

The game will be much more linear than TE:A and will not feature the numerous sidequests and diversions that it had. It will be basically a Crash-Bandicoot style level progression, with you getting to choose what order to play the quests in, but having to complete so many before moving onto the next batch.

Because it is so short, I expect to have a fully functional demo of the first batch ready to play by April 19th (my 23rd birthday). But, of course, we all know how my deadlines work.

Generally, I'm not much a fan of prequels, but when you're starring in it, it tends to be more interesting.

It sounds pretty cool.
