Worst way to die?

Allright, what's the worst way to die? This question is often avoided because of our fear of death. I've been thinking about it, and it's quite interesting to ask your friends about it.

I think I'd really hate to drown. I can't hold my breath underwater for very long, so it kind of freaks me out. You first hold your breath and struggle, only to inevitable inhale water... *shiver*
Also, I think being eaten by an animal is a possible winner. Specially if they don't bother killing you, but go nom-noming on your leg first. I watched some Animal Planet once, and there was a documentary about tigers. When they catch a large animal, they start eating immediately before the poor sucker is dead. It's just lying there, being fricken eaten! *shiver*

I've decided that when I'm too old to hold a game controller, I'm gonna jump off a building!!!

I saw the thread title and immediately thought "drowning".

I hate the thought of drowning. When you get enough water in your lungs, you need to cough. To do that, you first need to take a breath. It would be a horrible time before you died.

worst way to die... eaten alive sounds like a candidate.

drowning wouldnt be /that/ bad, a lack of oxygen makes your brain do funny things.

Shark victim; I can't think of a more horrible way to die. You drown while being eaten. A very unlucky school mate had the experience a few years ago, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

From my limited understanding, burning alive is far worse than drowning. Essentially, it is drowning. Since fire is fueled by the oxygen around you, you don't actually die from burning alive- you die because you can't get enough oxygen into your lungs. So essentially, while your flesh is beating burned away, you're also being suffocated by the fire.

And yes, shark attacks suck, unless it gets your head first.

I would say burning, or sinking in lava... your mind slows down to help you think of getting out, but when there's none, it would feel like an eternity before you finally die.*shiver*

Getting eaten follows closely after. Being swallowed while still alive means suffocating in slimey, stuffy darkness then eroding away in acid. That is if it's a dinosaur or something huge..

Then drowning... yeeeeek.

Epic death: Floating in the water face down, so you're drowning, + there was oil on the surface so it's burning your back, + a shark comes to bite yah. The sharks bites off your lower body and sends the rest of your body flying to land again. Then Raini comes and gives you papercuts!!!!

hm... i also thought about drowning first, but then i came up with "being beaten to death". you know, when you dont have a chance to fight back and there's someone beating the shit out of you. that person's not only going for your head so you fall unconscious, no. he also goes for your belly, your groin, your ribs, etc. sick shit...

Death by papercuts, and your final moments spent drowning in salt. Ugh.

Also, i have heard drinking bleach and other cleaning fluids leads you to an awful and horrible death..

Wait, i remember another horrible way to die: nuclear bomb... dying some hours after the explosion.
