Yeah so not to whine or bitch but for the past week I've had a series of inflictions which I lovingly call the "trifecta from hell". I have a pounding headache, a toothache and an earache all on the left side. Since the brain has a gating mechanism for pain which registers only the most severe injuries I rarely feel all three at once (they kinda cycle) but still it hurt likes a bitch. I'd go so far to say it hurts as much as my post-op pain from my apendectomy because it's so consistent and in a bad place.
So to make this a legitimate thread instead of just a gripe-a-thon, what are some of the worst ailments you've ever had? _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Well I can't remember it, but I had scolding hot water poured down his back. So that's not pain I can remember.
Most recently, I was shot in the right eye with a airsoft gun pallet. I was blinded for about two weeks, and have had lasting effects... for instance, I have extreme light sensitivity in that eye, I can't close the left one for extended periods without getting a migraine. Now, if I start drinking, since my eye doesn't change in size in different light, I also get magical migraines.
I am reminded of the famous quote from that movie, A Christmas Story; "You'll Shoot Your Eye out." Trust me kiddies, you can, and YOU WILL. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. As I said on facebook, sounds like migraine/megrim. Could be psychosomatic... _________________
