Okay, so I've been pretty lax around here lately, but it's because I've been trying to do too much. Well I'm actually adjusting quite nicely to my new schedule and am going to be able to start doing more things.

First things first, I just did a little bit of cleaning, de-annoucnement-a-sizing some old announcements and stickies.

I am going to try and re-open a lot of my services, such as my store, the Casino empire, and the Punch-Up (man, we just won't let that thing die gracefully will we?)

But jazzed as I am, I want to know what you all think we could be doing better on the boards. What should be improved, changed, done differently? What ideas do you all have?

Obviously I can't promise we can implement all the ideas (as I'm only a Moderator) but I'm sure the admins would love to hear the ideas too, just to get some ideas flowing.

....ok maybe not, but it's fun to say it anyway. Very Happy

I pretty much took a year of serious posting off after all the V3 updating. However, this month is the beginning of getting more focused with my life instead of just coasting and enjoying the ride. If I see anything I can do here, and if there's anything you need me to do, I'm on it!

Also, if enough people are interested, I'll pick back up The Marvelous Text Adventure. I need to find a better way to handle Chapter-Voting before I commit to it, though.

This place is pretty close-nit with some of the most creative minds I've seen. Perhaps if we plan 8 months prior to the 12th anniversary we can make it truly special. (I'm not saying the last one wasn't- but it did feel, at least to me, a little lackluster)

Ok no, I'd probably kill someone for that. I think we need more stories! More additions to my TE History board! It doesn't matter if it's different universes or dimensions, I WANT MOAR TO FEAST ON! Biting

I sent you the one I was working on, at least what I had. I lost the last part of it when my computer went to hell. I'll try to reconstruct what I can from memory and the PMs I sent to you.

I'd appreciate it. It just sucks that I not only lost my entire harddrive, but my backup USB stick went missing to. Literally, all the data I had saved is from 2007 and back. It's almost like the forum crash we had here a couple of years back.
