So what's your favorite console of the newest generation (Wii, Xbox 360, PS3)? And WHAI?
I'm voting for the Wii. Admittedly it has the least powerful engine of the three, but it has the best games. Of course, I've always been a Nintendo fan... So is there anyone that prefers suxBox or GayStation? I kid, I kid. _________________ Hey. I'm Fazermint. And I'm Juicy!

I've gotta vote for the Wii.
The other systems have plenty of fine games, but Nintendo has always had the franchises I enjoyed the most.
To anyone who says the Wii has no awesome games, you either:
- aren't looking hard enough
- have impossible standards
- are deliberate ignoring them.
^ Honestly, I can't help but lose brain cells when that last one happens. I've seen fanboys arguing (for any system), and have actually seen people say "name 3 AAA titles, except ____, ____ or ____".
For serious. "Name some AAA titles, but these AAA titles don't count." What kind of argument is that? _________________

^Those people are so annoying... Name 3 AAA titles except the obvious ones? Challenge accepted.
1. Xenoblade Chronicles - Awesome action RPG with huge areas to explore, a vast variety of monsters to pwn, a gazillion quests and, most of all, an incredibly fascinating story. 33 hours into it right now, and I can safely say it's one of the best games ever made. Soon available in NA
2. Monster Hunter Tri - Epic monster hunting RPG where you hunt large beasts such as dragons and leviathans. One of the most intense games I have played, as a battle can last up to 50 minutes and one mistake can kill you. A little steep learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it's a superb experience.
3. Tales of Symphonia - Dawn of the New World - Well I haven't played this game yet, but it's high on my getlist. I don't know much about the game, but I mean HELLO IT'S A TALES GAME. _________________ Hey. I'm Fazermint. And I'm Juicy!

The wii is my favorite current console for the same reason the ds is my favorite current portable. They're the best current systems out there for retro gamers. |

I can honestly say that there aren't many PS3 fans (I know only one personally) but I will go with the 360. It's not just the game system but everything you can do with it, including some of the new APPs. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. Don't have to have anything special to do two of the three on a PS3, gotta say. I think the 360 kind of failed in not having a native internet browser available on it. _________________

Can't knock the Wii since I don't own one and never used the browser, but the PS3 browser is slow, clunky, and overall weak. It depends, I guess, what you're looking at, but when you're down to no computer (Like I was a few months ago) you'd be better off using AOL 6.0 on dial-up. It'd respond better than the PS3 web browser. If you ask me, if you can't make a decent browser, don't include one at all. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. The only reason I would get a PS3 is Metal Gear Solid 4, which I know gets a lot of flak, but I honestly think it was probably the best game in the franchise in terms of gameplay feel and story. It got rid of the clunky stiff controls of one and two and perfected what was improved with 3. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Clearly, PS3 is out of the question here The only time I even considered getting one was when I saw the FFVII remake teaser. Guess I should have included handhelds as well. Sry gaise.
Games I've enjoyed on the Wii:
SSBB
Mario Kart Wii
Super Mario Galaxy
Zelda Skyward Sword
Zelda Twilight Princess
Sonic & the Black Knight (bash it all you want, I thought it was fun)
Sonic Colors
Super Paper Mario
Rayman Origins
No More Heroes
Monster Hunter Tri
Xenoblade Chronicles
And I still need to get these games:
Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World
Muramasa: The Demon Blade
The Last Story (once it's out)
Okami
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Donkey Kong Country Returns
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
No More Heroes 2
Metroid Prime Trilogy
Metroid: Other M
And there's also some good Wiiware titles, such as Cave Story, World of Goo, Jett Rocket++.
And SNES/NES/GBA emulators for the softmodders, essentially giving you all NES/SNES/GB/GBC/GBA games. I love my Wii. _________________ Hey. I'm Fazermint. And I'm Juicy!
