I just finished Zelda 1 and I'm about to start working on the 2nd quest. Has anyone here beat it? |

Once, and not without looking at gamefaqs. Good luck sir, you're gonna need it. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. I have the quest unlocked but never played it because my 3DS game got lost and end up stolen. I heard that the quest's map and dungeons are reversed and enemies are much harder than normal mode. _________________

I'm working on the 4th dungeon right now. So far the only use of gamefaqs I've needed has been a map of the overworld. And yes, the game is much harder. After seeing how far in over my head I was with Shadow of Night, I figured I need to beat this before going back to it, and before buying Parallel Worlds or any other Zelda hack. |

Before you go into buying "hacks," take a look around for the BS Zelda ROMs. Their legitimate Zelda games that were never released outside of Japan, and the ROMs are legal because of that. Look up the BS Zelda games- definitely worth a play, and a fascinating story of why Japan was always so much cooler than anyone else. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. Hey, great tip mate! As a rom collector, this will make a fine addition :3 I found an elaborate website about the BS Zelda games, seems it needs quite a deal of patching and stuff... oh well. Hopefully I can find some time to get it working between my exam preparations _________________ Hey. I'm Fazermint. And I'm Juicy!

I've beaten Quest 2 once. The toughest part is finding invisible walls in dungeons.
My best advice? Always have rupees. You'll need the bomb upgrades when you see them. _________________
