one more paid holiday tomorrow, then it's over.
I have a huge shoulder of pork in the fridge, rubbed with mustard and loads of spices and this will become a pulled pork when the clay pot is done with it after 3.5 hours. can't wait Knocked out

I just got sick myself 3 days ago. The whole fam is now sick. Poor thing my oldest has a runny nose but as much as I try to show her, she can't blow her nose yet.

same here! the two girls have a fever since friday. the timing is good though, they weren't sick over the holidays, christmas or new years. next weekend I'll go skiing with some colleagues in Blades home country, and they should be fine until then. let's hope I dont catch it myself this week Very Happy

Time for my annual pop-back lol. Merry very belated Xmas and New Year ya'll. Out Xmas was kind of a small affair because my brother paid for us all to go on a cruise (which is where I was for the first week of January).

Got two gifts from my GF: Encyclopedia Eorzea Volume II (FFXIV lore dump book) and House of Leaves by Mark Z Danielewski. I've heard about the latter by reputation and it's been a trip so far and I'm not even at the trippy bits.

Got her this polaroid-esque camera she has been wanting (the fujifilm instamax mini 12) and a 40 pack of multi-colored film. Most of my money went to my kid who made out like a bandit lol.
