All the music I currently listen to comes to me via TikTok trends or friend recommendations but I have to say I've been really enjoying AJR's - World's Smallest Violin lately.

I feel you'd enjoy Marc Rebillet, so here's a small sample of one of his songs.

It's truly a Millennial's theme song tho.

Givin' me "more successful brother of Tom Cardy" vibes. Cool

One of his bangers.

Edit: Minutes after that post, I found THIS SONG and now I'll be playing it on loop for a few weeks.

Tom Cardy does have some great bangers, it's true hahaha.

I thought I should revisit some music that I enjoyed before because boy, sometimes you just need some loud music, remembered one that Bladey rec'd younger me who wasn't sure about some black metal, but nowadays I'm like "damn, if I wouldn't crick my neck out of whack by headbanging, I would be right now!"

I'm listening to a video/podcast discussing whether or not Stanley Kubrick was murdered because his last film, Eyes Wide Shut, was going to expose the dirty secrets of Hollywood years before the MeToo, Weinstein, Diddy and others were exposed, and if the movie was intentionally edited to remove some of the more pointed evidence.

Fascinating stuff.

Uh... I'll give you a good one and a weird one.

Good one first, this has been my earworm for a while now:

Protomen - Light Up The Night

First heard this in the amazing 4-hour-long "Metal Gear Solid 4 Was a Mistake" Video Essay by Steak and I've been working my way through their tracks because holy fuck. Also recommend "Hold Back the Night".

And now the weird one... I have been obsessed with this weird ass 1980s indie film "Possibly In Michigan" because it's so fucking bizarre.

Possibly In Michigan

It's got like a 12 minute run time and is worth a watch. The music is surprisingly catchy even though it's all very unsettling by design.

I mean, as promised on the tin lol. Also I kinda get the feeling that a lot of ya'll would fuck with Protomen. Probably up Blade's alley too.
