Neither. If I ever did buy one, it'd probably be the DS. I've heard Sony's had a lot of complaints and bad PR about bad buttons and dead pixels. _________________

Care to tell? Feel uncomforty with "touch me"?
I checked for compares on DS and PSP and turn out they're tied - no winner. Gamespot.com had an article on DS vs PSP.
Dont trust Sony's first heldhand console. _________________

Well of course not. If they chose which one was better fans would kill them. |

It's not sonys fault. They don't make the screens (and the ds has dead pixel problems too). And I haven't heard much about bad buttons except for a few [] button errors. |

I got me a DS. It is wonderful... well the selection of games aren;t that great at the moment, I only have the one game... but it's a very good game (Mario)
I await the first RPG to make use of the touch screen in an inventive way, should be fun... can magine cool things like having to actually draw runes on screen to cast spells or something. That'd be cool :9 _________________

Whether or not its Sony's fault, it doesn't change anything. I wouldn't want to shell out a fistful of cash for something that has a good chance of being defective.
And I haven't heard about DS problems. _________________

Was I the only one who heard the DS has major bugs?
My best friend in the real world got a PSP and his little brother got a DS. He said it is all bugged up.
I will get the psp. _________________

you have friends in the real world? ... lucky you ... ... heheh ... anyway ... i do sorta dislike the whole touchscreen thing ... i would think it get very annoying ... and why the hell would you need two screens? ... i can understand two screens on ff cc so don't have to pause the game for everyone to go into menu ... but you wont exactly be sharing the same screen on handhelds ... sorta seems like a waste to me ... and once again ... i hate the whole touchscreen _________________ It's high time I revised this signature. |

It definitely takes some getting used to, but it's not as bad as you'd think.
If nothing else, you've gotta admit Nintendo's got balls going with something so unconventional. It's not like this is the first time either.... Wind Waker was met with a lot of skepticism and criticism, and wound up being generally well-received. Nintendo takes chances; they don't always pay off, but they're not afraid to stick to their guns. _________________

@ Muerte: then hate Nintendo 'Revolution'. It had touch screens instead of analog sticks and buttons.
When I bought DS, I had difference time with touch screen until I used to it. Now, I able to beat down the hunter bot in Metroid Prime Hunters demo. I kept playing it for high scores. So is Super Mario 64 DS.
And I noticed most DS RPG games were remakes of NES or GBA games such as FF3, FF:CC, and Secret of Mana. _________________

You trace and tap the screen with the stylus, you don't grind and pound with it. _________________
