He becomes permanent if you wait for him on the floating continent (wait until there's about 5 seconds left before it blows up). He'll join you on the airship, and then you find him in a cave later (instead of finding Relm). He'll take off for a while, and you find him at the colosseum later on.
If you leave the floating continent without him though, you can't get him.... 'cuz he's dead, and all.
I tried matching up the characters with the members' personalities as best I could. Deathpit, you had to be Shadow.... with him being a ninja and all.

He's in the Phoenix cave.... the one where the mountains are shaped like a star. I'm really bad at remembering town names, so I can't get specific right now.... I'd have to look it up.

aww ... now i gotta play it again ... but ... i got wind waker to play ... and ff:cc ... and soon ill have Zelda, Zelda II, OoT, Majora's Mask to play also since i ordered off eBay ... soo many games ... and my hols finish so soon

Why don't you guys just buy controllers for your pc's? I bought one the other day that plugs into my usb port, it looks just like a ps2 controller, it's not to bad. it was like $15 at wal-mart.

You mean GC Zelda Collector's Edition? It's worthly to have it in game collection.

Yes, that ... i only knew about it cause i saw it months ago ... had to get it off eBay though ... but as long as i get it and its good and works ... then i don't really care where it comes from

I got mine (new brand one) from gamequestdirect.com for retail price. Also they still sell GC bonus disc contains 2 N64 Zelda games. If I want buy it in eBay, I'll had to bid hundred bucks on it.
