FFVII remake?

Do think there should be one? or should they just copy it over to a new system.

i know that's there is not going to be a remake. don't insult me for dreaming. maybe if there was a sequal they could put some of my suggestions into it. it's not like I'm going to get my hopes up for something that's never going to happen I feel that a sequal proubly won't be in the works. Do you want them to copy the game exactly over to whatever system you want and add an "EXTRA" option at the main menu, which had a music selector, monster bestiaries, item list, and some art work? Like they did for CT.

I think most people are worried that if they enhance the game it will just ruin for them or they would srcew it up, which yeah I agree that i wouldn't want that to happen, but you got to take a chance somtimes.

Well how about this then?

*I would like to have some hidden charecters join the party like Reno, Rude, Tseng, Zack, and Sephiroth( but not in any way that it would screw up the story, maybe make them secret special charecters you get after beating the game a certain number of times. OR maybe add another story line where you could play from the point of view as the turks, some past quest of Zack and Sephiroth, but It should be written by the orignal author/s of the story so as not to screw it up)
*maybe add an extra optional limit break
*more side quests and mini-games
*maybe a new chocobo breed?(or not how cares)
*optional alternate costumes
*keep the music the same, just enhance (no remixes)
*add one more WEAPON
*maybe a new optional town( or not)
*keep the storyline and script exactaly the same
*make voices an optional feature (meaning you can turn them off if you want[ or just don't make them at all])
*keep the same battle system, the materia system and limit breaks exactly the same
*I still would like to see some more weapons, armor, and accesories( or maybe give some of them a new look, but nothing too radical)
*Enhance the graphics( or keep them exactaly the same)
*enhanced FMV's

well ... i think the graphics should be improved ... but by doing so they might screw it up by giving crappy angles ... but if it looked like they do now in AC that would be madness

materia system should be kept as is

secret character ... of course a decent sephiroth clone ... not some super strong one though ... a balanced character ... maybe you convince him he's not the true sephiroth and he goes into despair and then eventually joins you or something? ...

and maybe revive aeries ... not sure ... cause that is pretty important to the story ... but i just hatge the whole sorta ... can die in battle and just get revived by a phoenix down ... but if you die in a FMV you stay dead and nobody can do anything

and ... another WEAPON would be cool

and Cherry Blossom for Cloud ... i have no idea how its supposed to be ... only saw it in Tactics ... but it is supposed to be the one after Omnislash so i would assume it'd have to be good

It's probably a rumour, but I did hear somewhere that they're gonna remake FF7 with voices, updated graphics and such...

But I'm probably wrong and it was probably in a dream or something.

Is it true that the ps3 won't be backwards compatible? That was the whole reason why i liked the ps2, even though I never use my ps2 to play ps games...
If a sequal will be made I don't think it will come out for about 5-7 years.

Even so, I've kept all my systems to date. If it's not backwards compatible (which I don't see why it wouldn't be), I'd still have my PS2 and my original PSX.

Did anyone else have a problem with their ps1? About 3-4 months after I bought it a small black piece broke of the little spinner that holds the disk. I was able to super glue it back on but I was just wondering if any one else expericened something similar.

I think I'll have to buy an extra ps1 and a ps2 and just stick them in storage until I might need to use them. I don't think they will last as long as my super nintendo has, which I still play.
