It seems there is a high probability that our current pope is the 2nd last pope. The posibility that he is the last pope or that we aren't near the last one is unlikely, but it's still probable acording to the prophecy.
There was this cardinal, who was famous for having revelations. There is this thingie where there is a list of the last 112 popes, not with their names, but with a certain description about them. So far, the list seems to have been remaining posible, since around 90% of the popes descriptions have been found to match with the popes that came and went.
So, the end of the world is close, what are you guys gonna do before it? :p

Yeah, yeah, and the Bible Code says that there'll be a nuclear holocaust in Jerusulem next year, and blah blah... I'm burnt out on the end of the world. _________________ Overwhelmed with gestalt possibilities... |

It's actually Setsuna from Angel Sanctuary. I know, cause it's in one of the manga I have from the series... and I've seen the anime. _________________

Dude I think you are one of those blind people. You know they ones who will be like:
Random person: God told me that I had to kill you in my dreams!
Aoiga: Okay. Amen.
*Aoiga is killed*
You seem to have no will. I hate that.
That God says that he will poke the left arm of all the white haired males who are from Vancouver doesn't makes it right just because God sayd so. No one likes to be poked.
(Okay I made it look like a joke but you get my point, instead of 'poke the left arm of all the white haired males who are from Vancouver' write 'make innocents die and suffer. Having God say it doesn't makes it right.).
Also Joan, don't think about it like fate. Imagine, if there is this all powerful being, thing, God or whatever, and he says, dude, you are going to become bacon in 30 days, he will make sure himself that I become bacon XD
After all, I don't think fate happens coz it happens, but because it is forced to happen. |

I don't believe in fate either. There are two belief sides to Christianity; the Predestination crowd, and the Arminianism crowd.
Predestination (which it sounds like you're on that side, Coz) believe that man had a choice until the fall of man. After the fall, man was in complete sin, and was not able to choose if he wanted to be with God or not. But God knew which one of his children would be predestined to go to heaven, and which ones would repent.
Arminianism is the opposite. No one is predestined, although God knows who will choose him and who will not, we make out own choices; God doesn't compel people to accept them, it's their own decision, which is what I believe.

Well, I can safely say I'm plain 'ol Christian, no religous ritual crap, no Catholic, or Protestant toppings, and my intuition tells me that it's impossible to tell or decide the future unless God shows us the future in terms of prophetic visions. _________________

It was a big discussion when I still went to church in my high school class, so I had some of the papers still from it. We all figured who in the class leaned more to the P (Predestination) side, and who leaned to the A (Arminianism) side, and who was in the middle, etc.
It was a really interesting topic, and it popped into mind when I saw the discussion. _________________

Yep Aoiga >.<
And Raini, I would say that I think that nothing can happen for sure until it has already happened, but that God is going to make sure that things go the way he wants. |
