Hiya! =)

Hoa Dao · Posted: Sun Mar 20, 2005 1:42 am Post subject: Hiya! =)

Hey everyone!! ^_^ I haven't really played Soul Blazer (but I watched my second brother play it - sweeeeet game) and I've only played some of Illusion of Gaia, but I looooove Terranigma!!!!

Yup... ROMs. >_<;;

Anyway... a bit of myself I guess. xD *copies and pastes from profile from another website*

Interests:

I like anime and manga (more into manga though). My favorite games are RPGs. Despite the fact that I like RPGs, I haven't played a single FF game, or BoF, Lunar... I've played a lot of the smaller games (although I don't think Golden Sun is very small...) like Lufia (1 and 2, actually...)... ah, forget that... Oh yeah! I also like to read! Mostly Fantasy, and my faves are the Harry Potter books!

I also love cats, although I don't own any. I also draw in my own free time, and I think I am getting better! ^.^

Mmmm... dim sum...

Biography:

Hello all. I am Vietnamese American. There's not much to say, really....

Oh, right! I live with my mom, dad, and three older brothers. I'm the youngest and the only girl!

My user name:

Hoa Dao means "peach blossom" in Vietnamese. xD I really like it. ^_^

Some games that I like:

Tales Series
Golden Sun Series
Lufia (1 and 2)
Seiken Densetsu 3 is the only one I have played...
Zelda Series
Phantasy Star 4 is the only one I have played...
Kirby!!! >.<
Terranigma
Fire Emblem (7)
Brave Fencer Musashi

I'll get back once I can think of some more...

Games I want:

Tales of Rebirth [PS2] - Might not come out to North America. xD
Tales of Legendia [PS2] - Coming out in Japan soon, and a slight chance it would come out in North America. ^_^
Shining Tears [PS2] - According to the PSM, it will come out in March!
Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki [GCN] - I don't know release date. xD
Fire Emblem: Seima no Kouseki [GBA] - It will come out... I just don't know the date. xD
Samurai Legend Musashi [PS2] - Brave Fencer Musashi was fuuuun!

Games I have but have not played, but want to play eventually:

Suikoden I and II (not interested in III)
Breath of Fire III (not interested in IV)
Lunar I and II
Alundra
Grandia

Games I would like to borrow from my friends:

Wild Arms I and III (not sure if I'm interested in II...)
Arc the Lad Collection (expect me to die in my first battle...)
Star Ocean II and III

Uhh that's all I can think of right now... ^^

*end copy and paste*

*tackles all welcomers in sight*

Bite?

I'm scared of those kind of forums. Thanks for the warning. ^^;;

It's all good, it's mostly just rainichan that bites you, and trust me, you want to get bitten by her!

In other news, I'm the most annoying Administrator you'll ever encounter, any questions about the board can be directed at me...but..I'm sure it's not that complicated to find your way around the board.

I must say though, you have the most impressive Introduction post ever! People usually post something like "Hi, my name is Bob and I'm new to the forums"...and that's it...

But...okay...enjoy your stay.

Welcome. =D I'm the resident moderator around here. As for your intro about the games and all:
Lunar 1 and 2 are AWESOME. =D Good luck if you can find em for cheap though, they're really popular.
BoF 3 is great, and I've only seen the boyfriend play BoF4. Not too sure about Alundra and Grandia though.

Wild Arms 2 is actually REALLY fun. They story is really enveloping. ^_^
Arc the Lad is a great game too, it's hard at first, but you get used to the battle system quick.
And if you can, try and find the Star Ocean 1 ROM (if you want it, send a PM, I have a working ROM ^^)

Well, welcome to the boards, enjoy your stay.

Freedan · Posted: Thu Mar 24, 2005 2:14 am Post subject:

It's just an expression, Captain Arse-age. Like when you call a group of guys and girls "you guys".

Ooooh, burned.

Silly Axey.

Freedan · Posted: Thu Mar 24, 2005 11:29 pm Post subject:

Heh... "silly". Not the word I'd use.

Posted: Thu Mar 24, 2005 11:30 pm Post subject:

Word Freedan would use: dumbass.

Correct?

Freedan · Posted: Thu Mar 24, 2005 11:31 pm Post subject:

If I'm feeling in a generous mood, sure, I'll go with that.

Posted: Thu Mar 24, 2005 11:34 pm Post subject:

Lol so what would you say instead, hm?

Freedan · Posted: Thu Mar 24, 2005 11:35 pm Post subject:

I think I'd get banned for that kind of language.

And we can't have that, now can we?
