Well, as of today, the PlayStation 3 has an MSRP of $299.95 USD.

It's mainly to make the way for the new 120GB PS3 Slim, which will be available to the public September 1st, also with an MSRP of $299.95. Incidentally, the system itself does not stand vertical as well as its predecessor, and a vertical stand, for $24.95 USD, will be sold separately. Refer below.

Ah, Sony. Too bad you didn't do this before.

I'll probably be dropping around that much money for my school books this semester.

They had to do something to get momentum going.

Maybe they'll start moving some systems now.

When I find a job and can afford it I'm totally going to buy myself one of these. Until then I'll just sigh and wish I had a job

::insert a sigh here::

Not at the expense of scuffs and fingerprints...

Which is why:

Zune>Ipod

DSi>DSLite

PS3 Slim>PS3
