I know this may seem like nothing to some of you who live in colder climates, but Virginia is in a state of emergency. This weekend the snowfall counts keep climbing.

Current conservative totals: 18-24 inches!!!!

That's not the end of it.

Some reports are calling for (and this is highly unlikely, but if the worst case scenario were to happen): 36-48 inches!!!!!!!

I even heard one guy call for 60, but I think he was pulling our leg.

So I'm stuck in the hotel over the weekend (that's where I work). But, I planned for it. Got my PS2, changes of clothes, nice hotel food, my laptop. It'll be an eventful weekend for sure.

Aw, I live in Virginia too. Except in different part. I hate snow because I just like riding my bicycle. It's much healthy than use public bus or driving a car.

Edit: I checked a weather report from different sources. I'm going have some snow and rain tomorrow and Saturday. I hope it wouldn't affect my dad's visit. He got his three days off from his work. Sad

Sheesh. That's a lot of snowfall.

That's the kind of Winter we usually have here (though generally not so much at once). But we've barely gotten any snow (less than half of our usual).

I've got no complaints about this Winter. They could all be this mild for all I care. Cool Guy

That sucks about being snowed in, but at least you're prepared.

There's still a little bit snow left here, but it started snowing superlightly 2 hours ago...I'm not worried though.

@Jason: Good luck! At least you have everything you need, and you're prepared!

LOL. Here in Britain, "A lot" of snow is about 1-2 inches. Seriously, just that much can grind all forms of public transport to a halt, we Brits are completely unable to cope with even small amounts of snow. Razz

Glad to hear you went to work prepared, Jase. Cool
