My friend Krissy just told me to turn on the news! There is a bomb in Time Square!

They still don't know yet. I certainly hope if it is a bomb, that it's not a dirty bomb.

Update: It was a crude bomb, with faulty wiring, consisting of propane tanks, black powder, and commercial grade fireworks.

The way they're talking about it, it sounds like it didn't really need "disarming" more like the bomb was just a total dud.

The media is already saying it's a terrorist attack. No shit it's a terrorist attack. Tim McVeigh's Oklahoma City Bombing was a terrorist attack, too. Here though, they have more evidence- the bomb didn't explode, so there's probably a ton of liftable fingerprints. If not, they can trace the car by the VIN numbers.

If he wasn't smart enough to build a bomb that would actually work, you'd think he'd be smart enough to remove the VIN number from the interior of the axal? I don't think so, personally.

Attempted bomber even got on a plane to Pakistan. You know, through airport security because "oh lol his passport wasn't flagged like it should have been". So he got like a fail-win. Failed his "bombing" but won with getting out of the country because my homeland "security" doesn't do its damn job.

He was boarding a plane to Dubai, but was held up before it left. He was arrested, and admitted his role.
