That's... actually really cool. :O
I'm unsure about Roll though. But it looks really badass otherwise. _________________

omg this sucks incredibly! I mean, the trailer for the Zelda movie was actually pretty ok, but here you can smell the shittiness already from the trailer...

Considering this movie is being premiered on Screwattack, which is a site that is more or less known for being hardasses when it comes to video game movies, and that fact everyone on the site is saying nothing but good things about it, I'm going to have to say your assumptions will probably turn out to be wrong.
But hey, I guess we'll find out when it comes out... tomorrow. |

did you see the special effects in the trailer? I just can't take this serious. I value their effort though, but I'd rather not get such pictures about my childhood heroes in my head. I'm already prepared for a crusade against the one who wants to fan-film Terranigma... _________________

If there's one thing you can count on though, it's that it will be faithful to the source, unlike most video game movies.
And as for the effects, this film was made with next to no budget. With that in mind, it looks damn good. |

I kinda have to agree with psychokind on this one. I award them A for effort, but it looks like a group of high-school kids with Final Cut Pro and some shiny biking gear could have re-created this.
The Zelda movie trailer had vastly superior special effects.
Though I was never too fond of Mega Man anyways.

Well, I just finished watching it, and I personally thought they did an amazing job with it. Granted some of the effects are a bit cheesy, but they stay true to the source. Hell of a lot better than what Hollywood would come up with. |

There's a difference between "guy who has no budget and is doing this as a fan to make other fans happy" and "website that has a budget (even if it's on the smaller side) to make a fan movie" though.
When I have the time, I'll probably give the movie a watch. I like the guy they got for Wily, what can I say? _________________

just because hollywood movies began to suck since maybe 5 years ago... still, even those movies should be better than this _________________

if all you care about is pretty effects, and don't care a thing about story, then yes. But these guys had their heart in it, and now that I've actually seen the movie, shitty special effects aside, they did a phenominal job. (Wily and Roll stole the show for me though)
