Happy Canada Day, all my canadian friends.

On another forum I visit, I saw this, which made me think of how appropriate this all is...

There's a lot of truth to that comic. The Fourth of July comes along, and as an afterthought, people remember "oh yeah, Canada's birthday was a few days ago, wasn't it?".

143 years old. She doesn't look a day over 120.

Went to see the fireworks last night. It's always a good night out.

They had some little local band playing there (as they usually do, to give them some kind of promotion). Wow, were they awful. The music was ok, but the singing was terrible.
