Light version skin?

Hi, I love the forum with all it's custom icons and other custom stuff but I have a suggestion: could a light skin/version of the forum exist? It's not that I don't like this but it is nice to make it more customizable and sometimes people need some bright optimistic colors on their screens Plus, there's a light and dark side to everything: (read Light) and

Something white/blue/silver maybe?

You should have joined the boards back when we were using a temporary board (2005 or so I think). It was silver and blue. But as long as I can remember the traditional colors of TerraEarth have been maroon and brown.

I know the GA Forums let you choose your style and a lot of boards do now, but I honestly couldn't imagine these boards any other way.

Just as I said, it's a suggestion. If you wouldn't like it you can choose not to switch to a second skin. It's about giving chance to an alternative, not enforcing a different skin.
And yeah, I know it's made to be in tone with the main site but ... well, here i am, "fresh blood" giving a suggestion for the forum admins and/or designers.

Hey, man, roll with it. The thing about these suggestions is the admins do take it into account. It may take a while to be put into play, but they do pay attention.

You will find that a lot of the suggestions here, while it may have taken a couple years to implement, have come into play here in the forums.

We use an older version of our forum software, so I'm not sure if we can even do that with our current version.

It is possible to do.

With the new dark look to the forum, I might consider making a "red-based" theme sometime in the future, but for now, it's going to stay like this.
