Well, as the other nr. 1-hit-producers do...they pay some people to buy their CD, so they can enter charts, and with a big marketing-thing, youth-hype and stuff you can reach nr. 1 easily...thats why I don't givew a fuck about the charts, their all overproduced stuff...

And the Bands I like, those who make their own music, end up with nothing, and if they have bad luck, they become indicated...

Schnappi - the game also reached nr. 1 on video-game-charts, and this game is just....shit, its not even catchy or something, its just shit...

And stupid stuff reaches # 1 because young people are generally stupid and buy in to anything that's hyped up to be trendy. After all, if you don't follow all the latest trends, no matter how stupid and dorky they may be, you won't be identified as "with it", and will therefore be subject to endless amounts of taunting and ridicule.
