Though I wouldn't wish death on anyone, I can't say I'm too broken up after hearing this.

For those unaware, Falwell was a far-right conservative who mixed religion in to politics. He was a major opponent to same sex marriage, porno, stem cell research, abortion, and fought to keep prayers in public schools.

Some highlights include:

- He's the one who claimed that one of the teletubbies was a gay role model, and thus, damaging to children.

- Claimed the Antichrist was probably a male Jew.

- Blamed September 11th on homosexuals, feminists and liberals (he apologized, but it's doubtful he was sincere).


All in the name of God, of course. Because, as we all know, when they say "God loves all his children", what they mean is "straight white Christians".

The world will be a better place without him in it. Harsh? Maybe. But I can't stand these kinds of people, who attempt to justify their hatred of others by guilting people with the religion card.

Yeah, I can't stand those sorts of people, as soon as all of them are gone the world will be a less ignorant place. Yeah, its sounds harsh, but there's not point in me saying something I don't think.

i think its very hard to tell somebody what thoughts are true thoughts and what not... he thinks gay people are bad people and others think terrorists are bad people...

this may sound like two different things, but in the end its quite the same:

if we stop focusing hatred on groups of people, the world would get a better place, no matter what happened... love your next as you love yourself and i tell you, it works...

jesus said something like "...but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." i finally understand what this really means: dont lower yourself on the niveau of hate and revenge and whatsoever... be BETTER! show him you understand that there is so much more than that...

equality today is already a privilege again and i think it never was a common feeling; sadly...

These kind of folk are base, simple creatures who have destroyed their own ego Id to become a tool -- a tissue sample of a greater whole they believe is far superior to all else. They are nothing more than a piece of material that forms a consciousness that the latter tend find useless, pathetic, or evil.

What makes these poor creatures? Disappoint and insatiable standards. The standards that nothing in this world can make leads to disappointment. In men like this one, it was disappointment in societies and humanity. His religion was the whole while he was a benefactor that overtime in his zealous and backwards beliefs warped him into what we know him as.

After all, disappointment is the root to all of our evils and vices. As humans, we have this hard coded in all of us, the ability to feel disappointment that is. For without it, we'd be less than human and more like a tactless drone that is either lost in eternal bliss from better lack of hatred or distaste, or just machines with no desire. Such is the province of humans.

For me, I don't define it by what an individual personally considers. That can always be made irrelevant. I on the other hand consider it on a psychological level as well as a basic scientific level. Who knows the real reason why he became like this. Perhaps it was his upbringing, maybe it was psycho-cell hereditary where he too picked up his parent's traits. No one can be for sure.

It's always nice when a bad person dies, but my personal belief is that when a person is in the ground and earning their eternal reward, they're even with the mortal house, so to speak.

hating yourself is even worse than hating others... i dont think that you can REALLY like/love others when you dont even like/love yourself... how could you, as a surgeon, transplantate arms to an armless, when your arms are missing? you get what i mean?

if you dont feel yourself what you want others to feel, how do you know how it has to feel?

What you're saying there is flawed, a more appropriate example would be how could a blind man explain sight. Just because one hates oneself doesn't mean they can't feel compassion or love for another. In fact I would say the capacity in which one could like/love another person becomes that much more because of their own self hate. Its a very difficult thing to explain in the way I would like, but that will have to do for now.

hm are you sure none of the ppl that messed up the incident or the plane kidnappers actually was gay? I'm quite sure about none of them having been a feminist at this time, coz those are rare amongst arabian ppl. The teletubbies don't make anyone gay. They can embed a feminine personality in males thought, if they don't grow out of it. Don't think they will always grow out of it, just think that many of the people at TE probably have gone through times where all videogames are considered to be for little kids.
