Vexx

Okay, it's a bit different I'll admit, but I have recently played (and almost beaten) an awesome game for the Gamecube and I think the PS2 called Vexx. It's platform gaming on 'roids, man. The premise and storyline is not the hottest, admittedly but the fast-paced combat system and the incredible range of abilities, unique worlds and incredible score make up for it.

Could you explain this marvelous system to the less enlightened ones like me? (i.e. the people who don't have the game?)
