          | Just for kicks, I thought I would start something up on lessons learned from video games. I'll add some more myself once some others do, but for now:
I've come to the realization that all video game characters are descended from some kind of feline ancestor. That's the only possible explanation for the cat-like fear of water they seem to have.

Grand Theft Auto, Zelda (pre-flippers), Castlevania... no one can tolerate a little H2O. Even Frogger - a frog - is killed instantly on contact. Either they're all made of cotton candy, or my ancestor-theory was right.

Feel free to add some more, and I'll put in some more later on.

          | Ohh videogame tropes!
There is a library of such stuff in the videogames section of this wiki.

          | You killed my thread.
That'll be a lot of good reading, though.

          | I'll revive your thread, dark knight!
Video games have taught me that if people die in an epic battle of awesome epic proportions, you can throw a feather on them and they'll live again!

...however, that doesn't apply if you get stabbitied or get food poisoning.

          | Video games have taught me that if you need a powerful sword to destroy a somewhat powerful enemy, don't pull out the sword, or he'll get stronger. Just visit your local fairy for some silver arrows. _________________

          | I've learnt that if you're fighting a very feminine, but male, antagonist you will always end up triumphing if you're an emo, but you'll likely lose someone that was close to you. _________________

Dude, same as Kimahri's ass on FFX. I'm replaying it, and I always lol at the fact that items seem to come from his thong.

 ...or Lulu's boobs.

Yay for improbable body crevices as storage spaces.

          | video games have taught me that if you have a big sword, you will inevitably save the world from some sort of great evil that is only awakened every few millenia.
