new life starting: NOW!

yea its friday morning and i almost passed my first week in my new life...
oh well, before anyone asks, i will explain everything, i know you are interested

i got a job at a local radio station called "soundportal" as a journalist. this means im either sitting at press conferences, standing in the streets doing opinion polls, cutting audio (e.g. phone-up interviews) or translating interviews from english to german, doing the phone-service (if someone calls and says "oh hi, id like that new song from blabla, can you play it pleeeeease?" im the guy on the other side of the phone who's like "yea of course, tell me your name and who you wanna dedicate it to" or "no sry, we just played it like 3h ago")

fun work indeed, but the catch is: no money... and with "no money" i mean like working for free, no paycheck, nothing
before i started, it gave me some sleepless nights considering if that would be worth it but in fact, it aint better anywhere else... you gotta work many many hours in that business for free to get paid at once. and if you made it that far, dont expect too much XD
the payment keeps you from starving but thats it =/ talked to one of the bosses yesterday if he really likes his job and he said "its one of the jobs that are fun, and thats what really counts." i guess hes right...

oh well, I'll give you my opinion anyway I think it sounds very interesting, and not too many people have the opportunity to do sth like that, so use it wisely and dedicated. Just make sure to not work too long without payment, a 400€-Payment (thats the amount you can earn without taxes and stuff) should always be possible for a company. Employers tend to exploit their (especially young) workers these days

yea you are right, the worst payment i ever got was when i worked at a bank for 3 weeks... got like 450 or something... best payment was for a bigger company as IT technician for 5 weeks... earned me 1,5k or something for virtually doing nothing at all ah good old times ^^

anyway, back on topic again XD soundportal is giving the opportunity to young people every month. they are taking up to 6 new guys every 30 days and if you like your work you may stay for longer (still without payment though)
