Hello people. The following things have changed!

Final Fantasy and The Legend of Zelda boards have been removed.

Why? They were full of topics?! True, but in an attempt to make our website more appealing to fans of the actual thing that we're about (the Soul Blazer Trilogy!) They've been removed.
All topics still exist. Don't worry, they've just been moved to General Gaming. Also: The frequency of new Final Fantasy and Legend of Zelda discussions was pretty low. Not to mention the release of new games to talk about.. (Although a Zelda 2009 or 2010 may be there)

New board! It's called Fan Made Games and Sequels ( Arrow pointing right

Hurrah! For those of you who didn't know yet, we've adopted the Terranigma 2 - The Continuance project. A project devoted to creating a non-commercial sequel to Terranigma. This game will feature an improved battle system (non-turn based, of course!), a new magic system, improved graphics, less requirement to follow the plotline, difference between days and nights and a complete weather system.

Aside from that, at any given time, one of you (on and off the board) is working on some kind of Soul Blazer related game. Be it RPG Maker or some crazy Flash thing, things do happen. Same goes for the TerraEarth games (Jason's for example). Games not Soul Blazer related, but TerraEarth Forums related (although I rarely make an appearance in these ¬¬)

Anyway, a new home for all these project, past, present and future, is our new Fan Made Games and Sequels board.

Showcasing Archive board has been removed and some board have been shuffled around.

The showcasing archive was pretty empty. And we're all way to lazy to archive old showcasing threads in there. So, it's just gone now. You can of course still find good old showcasing threads in the showcasing board itself!

Rearrangement... argh! I hope everybody like it and nobody gets lost! Something I was annoyed by for a long time is that Spam Central was under the Site category. Seriously..huh? Next to that some other questions and thoughts have been taken care off in this new arrangement.

Fancy spiffyness in the top of your window

In case you didn't notice (but.. how can you not?) there is a new fancy bar in the top of your browser window. It's always there, not matter were you are on the forums. The TerraEarth Forums link gives you easy access to the forums home and, when browsing a specific board, that board's name will also be displayed there. This is also a link, for easy going back to it.

Next to that you should notice your Gem account and PM thingy. The PM thingy flashes in an annoying way when you've got a PM waiting for you. I was sick and tired of that dialog with the OK and Cancel and new window bull.. so I integrated it into the bar. The gems and PM thing will obviously not show when you're not logged in.

Dude, if we get an item shop working, the new top bar could display purchased items. Just a suggestion.

I do think it looks more cleaned up, and the bar on top was a nice surprise. Now that my internet works again (Fer how long?) I'll be dropping by. Very Happy

I would suggest an expansion of the PM storage capacity and the ability to display posts in a thread newest-post first.

More changes!

New server

We have a new server. It's better than the old one, although you may not necessarily notice that. On the administrative side we sure are, because the bills will be lower, for the same performance.

Gems sorting for member list

Although it's a small tiny thing. You can now sort members on amount of Gems! Creating our own Forbes 400. Well, we don't have that many millionaires, but still.
