Terra Earth Awards 2009

I think it's about time we had another Terra Earth awards. For those of you who don't know what this is, it's a nomination-based recognition program which Terra Earth has used in the past. I remember my previous awards well: Most Horny Poster back when I first started, and then in the second or third one I tied for Coolest Poster. Memories... disturbing memories,

But no, the way it works is this, you nominate somebody for the following titles. If you have a title you want to make up, then it must be declared valid by at least 3 other posters.

The Titles are as follows:


1. The Coolest Poster
This poster makes you smile, laugh and just straight up makes your day whenever you read their comments.


2. The Smartest Poster
This poster is up on their dates, knows their facts and trivia and is just plain intelligent.


3. The Funniest Poster
This poster cracks you up, make you lol, rofl, roflol and roflmao!


4. The Hardest Worker
This poster consistently puts an effort on maintaining the integrity of the site. I reccomend Admins be reccomended for this.


5. Artist Extraordinaire
Great writers, musicians, and artists should be nominated. There will be three winners (writing, music and art)


6. Spamster
This poster wins the dubious honor of the most random posts in all of TerraEarth.


7. Coolest Avatar
This poster's avatar is just plain awesome.


8. Coolest Sig
This poster's sig is just plain awesome.


9. Best Merchant
This merchant is reliable, and provides a great service.


10. Top Contest
This poster creates the best contests.


11. Most Promising Newcomer
Devoted to new posters who aren't Residents.

3. The Funniest Poster = ...everyone... on the old RP punchup threads (not the tourney's the other ones, the funny ones)

4. The Hardest Worker = eflare or Jason Tandro (doing 2 things at once; RPG + Tourney)

6. Spamster = not sure, could be anyone, not valerie or eflare...and not some other people (probably including me)...to hell with it, i nominate all those who still use this site (except me of course, i use the site but i wouldn't say i'm a spamster [then again i am lvl 5 already ])

I'm in the same boat as Joan... I haven't been able to get on here (Lack of functional internet) but I do want to nominate a new category;

Most Dedicated Member (Non-Administration)

What I mean by this is, the single TE member who dedicated the most time they could to the site, and generally has a lot to offer.

Also, what about a TE Hall of Fame award? Not like a RP Punch Up Hall of Fame as you mentioned, but a site/forum wide Hall of Fame. Like, induct them in as a Hall of Famer for whatever reason (Highest post count/best content, achievements towards the embetterment of this site and forum). I'm not sure what that status would include... maybe some sort of exclusive feature only they could use, prehaps?

Just my thoughts on it all.

4. The Hardest Worker - Rainichan. It's hard for me not to choose an admin, and since I've been here, Teh Kween has seemed to always be up on the site, keeping an eye and whatnot. Even when a week or two goes by with no posts.
