Joe Wilson shouts "You Lie" during Obama's Speech

I say good on Joe for calling out Obama and having the guts to vocalize his concerns, but on the other hand politics aside is it really mature to just publicly bash the president in this manner? I'm not sure.

It was unprofessional, immature, and unbecoming an elected representative of the country.

They have appropriate ways in place to voice disapproval and disagreements without being a confrontational asshole.

Of course, our political system is no better here. Politicians take childish potshots at each other all the time, and end up looking incredibly petty for it.

Somebody made the argument that it's like the British House of Commons "Question Time" or something like that. Where you are allowed to freely interogate the Prime Minister.

Frankly, I can agree with Joe Wilson, but the more I think about it, there is a certain amount of decorum you must uphold for the President of the United States, whether you approve of the man in that office or not.

Quite frankly I think all of american politics has just become pointless, but thats just me. People seem to be more concerned with the social aspect than actually fixing the problems in the world.

I won't lie, I think the president of my country is a dipwad. Considering he really WAS lying about what Joe Wilson shouted out? Yeah. :/

Though, yeah, he shouldn't have done that, but hey, you know what? What goes around comes around. The same people who sat and booed Bush during his speeches and voiced the same things during Bush's stuff? Are trying to get Wilson in trouble, and are trying to censor him.
