I want to play a game, namely Silent Hill, though I have no Playstation. How can I play it? Where can I get it? Tell me!

for PS1, theres a great emulator called ePSXe

likewise, for ps2, theres one called pcsx2

you need plugins to use either of them, but they come standard with the installer.

what doesnt come standard, however, is the bios. those are available if you look hard enough on the internet, or if you cant be bothered, i can send you the ones i found. that would take me 2 days, as i dont get home to my computer til then.

also, these 2 emulators support controller input, if you have a usb controller. they also run games right off the original (or backups, isos, w/e) cds, so theres no messing with roms or anything.

If you have a PS3 or PSP, Silent Hill is available on PSN.

(At least I'm pretty sure it is...)

You can find an .iso of Silent Hill either here or here. Zophar.net has emulators to download, though I would recommend the one that EP mentioned.

Yep.. emulators are the best option if you dont want to spent money...
Just use pSX if you cant handle ePSXe. pSX doesn't need any plug-in.
