I was talking to the hypotenuse of a triangle about politics. He stopped and said: "Well I don't wanna go on a tangent."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
No but seriously, I found this .gif which is kinda cool, but only of the remotest interest to peoples in math.

So I love triginometry, but hate algebra. What about you guys?
[Note: By the way, the joke above refers to trig. The Tangent of A is defined as the Opposite / Adjacent. The third side of a right triangle (the side that is across from the right angle) is called the hypotenuse. It's really not funny at all.]

i want a pie. just thought i'd put that out there.
but anyway, if you draw a circle into a right angled triangle, with a point on the circle touching each of the sides, the hypotenuse is actually a tangent
